Didn't Armenia give like 1 point to Azerbaijan in 2009?![]()
Oh yes. I didn't know that, sorry.

Some may be surprised with picking Estonia instead of Iceland or Finland, but these two countries rarely give us better than 8 (if not the song is amazing). I think Estonia is a stronger pick for us.
Everyone wanting the UK voting in their semi. :'D I feel the love.
I'd take Germany over UK, but they've been allocated to vote in SF2 and I'd prefer Estonia to be in SF1. But UK is a good second choice.![]()
Tried to make a dreamdraw for Sweden, would look something like this:
Pot 2:
Sweden
Denmark
Norway
Estonia
But it's not fair. Everything should be decided by draw. I understand that Danes hadn't anything against (because it was Swedish idea), but why Austria is continuing it?For dramaturgy purposes. They don't want to risk opening the show with a low-key ballad or having 5 uptempo songs in a row anymore.
Maybe it doesn't make Eurovision more fair, but if you can't find a proper solution, you need to use some half measures.Imho pots don't help anything to make Eurovision more fair

An alternative I could imagine working quite well would be dividing the songs into an uptempo and a downtempo pot and then have a draw from those.
