chontono - I posted a message 6 minutes before the deadline that I was voting - my internet connection was crap and it meant that it took me a further 9 minutes to finally get the votes to send. It's your prerogative whether you accept the votes or not, but I purposely posted here when I was trying to send you the PM.

I would also propose to accept the votes, because you mentioned in the thread that you were going to vote 5 minutes before the deadline.

I have no problem to accept Andalucía´s votes but I don´t know why you put the host under this weight. So is it enough to announce that you are voting to count as actual votes? I demand all that gets reflected in the rules so that theditz nor anyone else doesn´t get pissed (if he were) because we just respect the deadline, I don´t need any more enemies in this contest. I demand an instruction from moderation xsnooty
And if the deadline is not respected, I´d need to know how many extra minutes are allowed

Charlyje, I never got your votes, you could see :jp: was never on the list of voters, you should have checked, but if you keep the message and it proves so, I will of course count them in :)

Since Gary posted 5 minutes before the deadline that he was going to send the votes "now" and it took him 8 minutes to do so, and then explained that his connection was crap, you could just accept the votes without making all this public so no further discussion will be needed. Gary isn't someone who would just show up 5 minutes before the deadline and send random votes, I'm sure he had his votes ready, or almost ready, and the fact that it took him so many minutes to complete sending them proves that he tried to send them before the deadline but didn't make it. After all, it was just 3 minutes. We had in the past cases that someone sent his votes with 1 or 2 minutes delay and the host didn't accept them, and he had the right to do so, but these people didn't notify that they were planning to vote before the deadline.

You still don´t answer any of my questions xshrug
You just question the fact that I made all this public.
That is really uncool.
And Gary had more than six days to vote.
