With a little over five hours to go, the hosts are impatiently stamping their feet around at the border, waiting for the following coaches:

ALL IN!! :D Show will be going up straight after the LL.

Just a quick heads up on the format beforehand:

The first round is the six groups and the top two from each group will qualify, along with the two third-place teams with the most points. Voting is a little different to most spinoffs as you will vote for your favourite in each "match" (i.e. Germany vs Poland, Poland vs Ukraine etc. in Group C). Obviously, you don't vote for matches involving your team, but that still leaves another 33 matches to vote in... So the only obligation is to vote in the three matches in your group which don't involve your team. Also, anyone can vote, even if they have not entered a song into the spinoff! :D Any questions, feel free to ask; I know it's quite different to usual! :)

In the real Euro 2016 the four best third-place teams do qualify for the next round. Look, if there are just two best third places we would have 14 songs in the next round -> 7 matches -> 7 winners. But this would be an odd number and you can't have 1vs1 matches when there is an odd number of participants.
If there are four third-place qualifiers we were able to implement the usual football tournament mode (Round of 16, then quarter final, then semi final & the final)

Maybe you already knew that and you just made a typo. :)

Mr. Whiteshoes is, ofc, spot on! It was not a typo, merely my brain failing at 7.10am having only just woken up. Yes, 16 teams through this round, so the best four third placed teams. Apologies for any confusion!
