I'd say Hungary will win the jury vote and the UK will do quite well too. Armenia and Azerbaijan shouldn't be far behind. I can see Spain doing much better with the jury too.

Russia, Greece and maybe Poland and Portugal got many chances to do worse due to the juries.

It wasn't flawless... In my opinion, her televote performance was alot better. At the beginning of her jury performance, she sounded nervous and was a bit pitchy throughout.

I don't think I saw her jury performance. I was just going on what I read. A lot of the news sites (including here) said how great the jury performance was. I know on the night her "Ooooo's" at the beginning were a little sharp but it didn't ruin the performance for me and she still should have gone through.

I was just really shocked the jury placed her 10th. I thought she would have been top 5 easy. It's strange to think that "Crisalide" got only a few points more than the "Social Network Song". It make you wonder if countries down vote the favourites on the edge of qualifying?

I was saying a few days ago, I think Valentina could do it this year, last year the song was stronger, but this year it is simple and innocent, plus the semi is rather weak(ish) semi I think the innocence of the song could be a real positive, and I think she may make the final

I hope you're right. The tacked on dance section at the end may have put the jury off. The fact that this years song keeps a calm vibe throughout may help. On the other hand I think it's the lack of an upbeat schlager section that has lost Valentina sadly a lot of fans this year. "Maybe" is so much more beautiful though.

I think it will be between Armenia and Austria since Conchita is one of the top performers this year and Aram has a strong ''electronic and orchestral'' mix. Also Norway has a strong change.

I think :dk:, :se:, :az: and  will meet some resistance due to the simple fact they recently hosted the contest. This goes for :ru: as well I think, but for other reasons.

So:

Semi1: :hu: or :se:
Semi2: :at: or :il:

Final: :hu:

I think San Marino and Belgium will do pretty well with the juries in semi 1. Belgium will probably do better, because of his vocal range. I can see San Marino pulling a Lithuania 2011 result. The songs are sorta similar too. Valentina won't win the jury vote, but she can easily end in the top5 there. I don't know about the second semi-final. It won't be Malta this time. Romania or maybe Norway will take the top jury marks.

Juries name revealed!

At least for Poland it doesn't look bad - Magda Tul ( :D ) and Mietek Szcześniak (ESC 99') are over here :)

I am not good with predicting the jury votes. I thought :nl: would win the jury vote last year

It could be :uk:

I think UK as well (not being bias at all). But I don't think we will win the televote.

this person did a voting simulator prediction (in which the UK gave Spain 12). It was probably the best I've seen as it recognised all the typical voting patterns. He also did the rankings on here, to give an insight into how things might turn out.

A lot of people always think that juries will not vote for pop songs and will only vote for ballads and other songs, that is actually not true.

In 2011 the juries ranked :se: as 9th and :ie: 6th in the final.

The juries are almost like they were back in ESC 1957-1998. And Ireland won Three times in a row 1992-1994.

Sure, they don't vote for a lot of pop songs either.
