Obviously, I want :am: to win for many reasons. I think it's the best song, I think the whole package is perfect and I also think it would add something fresh and positive to Eurovision. A country that never won before and has been trying quite hard. It's also the most touching song for me, so it's clear :)

I would be happy if :nl: wins because it's been the best performance we've had so far this year. It's delicious and I also think a winner like this would be positive for the future of the contest and would break clichés. What's more, I'd love to go to Amsterdam once again and Eurovision is the perfect excuse :D

I would be happy as well if :hu: wins because it's one of the best and up-to-date songs. I think the song doesn't work live as well as it does in the studio version, but still it would add something to the contest and it would be great to bring Eurovision to a new country and a new region (first Central European country from the former East block to win). It could bring Slovakia and Czech Republic back to the contest too.

I'd be ok with the :uk: winning. Actually, I would be happy with the song, but I don't think the BBC has tried really hard this year even if they had the song and the chance to do it (or at least to try). I mean, the song has been officially released only some days ago.... Looks like apathy and I'd rather give the illusion to someone else.

I'd also be ok with :gr: winning. It's not the best Greek song at all. Actually, I think this is probably the weakest one in the last 10 years (except Sakis Rouvas, of course), but it's still amazing. Great show and catchy party tune suitable for any European party. Would add something fresh and positive to the contest too.

I'd love :ch: to win, but I know that will not happen. I'd love :es: to win to have ESC finally in my country, but I don't think we deserve at all.

I'd hate :at: to win cause I simply hate the song and almost everything involved here + I think it would take old clichés back and would be the victory of the politically correct over music.

I wouldn't like :se: or  to win because I don't want the contest to be again in Scandinavia for the third year in a row (both shows have been great, but both Sweden and Denmark have been so fishy and tried to handle the whole thing as they wish and I don't like it). Also because I think Swedish song is nice but more of the same thing and Norwegian song lacks of feelings.

About the rest, it depends. I like most of them, but I don't think they have enough potential to win this.

First of all, I'd love :ge: to qualify for the final. Unfortunately, that won't happen. With a song that polarises even more than Conchita, I'd love to see how'd it do in the final scoreboard.

:is: is my personal favourite. Sure, its lyrics are somewhat patronising but I reckon it is the most fun entry this year.

Out of all the real contenders for the title, I'd take :nl: over anything else. Their song is the only one worthy of a song contest trophy.

Now I'd strongly dislike seeing :se: taking the trophy. I find their ballad boring, uninspired and, as I've explained in the respective thread, Sanna Nielsen not to be that great a singer.

I'd hate to see :at:, my home country, win. I have also explained why in the Austria thread, but I will reiterate. Conchita Wurst is a massive stage hog in Austria. Winning this would give him even more momentum meaning he'd probably be plastered all over the media for the coming months if not years (remember, he'd only be the second Austrian ESC winner). Also, the Austrian broadcaster would make a horrible ESC host. I do not even want to think about it.

:uk:, :hu:,, :es:, :ua:, :ch:, :pl:, :sl: but mostly the three former ones :D

Why so negative thinking? :|, you haven't seen it yet :)

Don't know about the host, but giving Eurovision to a broadcaster which has had such a low interest in the last years, even withdrawing for some years in a quite bitter way.... I don't think that's the best idea.

Although I like  's entry and other songs I wish the winner to be a country from Central or Western Europe.
Northern and Eastern Europe have dominated this competition for the last 15 years.

just for diversity, let's say :uk: because Brits are so enthusiastic about their entry.
I do not share their enthusiasm about that song, but ... we should let them win

Hungary. The fact that there's a drum'n'bass track at ESC is a big thing itself, but the fact that it also has crossover appeal and can achieve a high place is even better. Not to mention it actually sounds modern. Also, I tend to support countries that haven't won yet.

Ofcourse I want :at: and :se: to win too, but the 3 I mentioned have a special place in my heart.

I hope :am: does not win. Aram is ignorant, the things he said about Conchita and LGBT rights, the song is meh, the performance is a dissapointment and the fans of Aram are mostly cocky.

Armenia. But unlike other years, I would be happy with several other countries winning as well. I would be gutted with a UK win though.

I hope :uk:, :nl: or .

But I think only :uk: has a shot at winning.

I wouldn't mind a lot of other countries winning too, but I don't like it if Sweden or Greece wins.

:nl::ro: i'd be happy for

:sm: xheat god yes :de::mt::is: all probably won't win but it would be amazing

:ru: Love their song. Would be hilarious if they won and i'd enjoy drinking everyones delicious tears... but I don't want the contest in Russia next year with what currently is going on in that country. I hope the girls do very well though.
