^^ omg, I listened to that song - and similar Euro Disco/Italo Disco songs - many years ago..
German ZYX Records had popular compilation-albums with this type of music.. :D

:fr: Chimène Badi - Le Jour D'après

Gorgeous French ballad of the kind I adore! xlove I have it on repeat on my musicplayer, like many,
many times before. I never ever tire of it, a magnificent ballad by a talented singer! xheart

Such a stunning song, and the context of how it appears in the film in which it appears is so touching xlove

:uk: The Police - Walking On The Moon

Reminded of this recently and now can't stop listening to it again. White reggae music and it's amazing.

YVA did a new version of my favourite their song "Brunetes Blondines". I still prefer the original, but new version is not bad too.

I haven't heard that song in probably ten years, but it sure stirs up emotions, it does. Why? I mean, it does nothing for me, it's nothing special. But. It aired during the best time of my life. I was more into Oasis and Blur, but I still watched MTV and apart from the hip hop crap, you appreciated the Pop-music much more than today. I had a crush on Nicola Roberts, yes, I admit that. Used to record TOTP performances on VHS tapes and watch them early in the morning (the tape would normally run out and pop out of the player). I think Pop Music had it's peak in the 90's and has steady declined since. People don't realize how good the mid-2000 were in terms of "coherrentness". It's truly missed. Thank you for freshing my memory up.
