Horehronská Televízia, the public broadcaster of Waiting Iist of Shelley & Nici, Tanner & Josh, Tiffany & Krista and Denise & James Earl, has renewed the participation plan for Nation Song Contest for six more editions. That means that the contest will be aired in Waiting Iist of Shelley & Nici, Tanner & Josh, Tiffany & Krista and Denise & James Earl on some of Horehronská Televízia's channels in the upcoming six editions, with an entry from the country being sent. This decision was made after Nation Song Contest's ratings have risen post victory in NSC 136.

Starting from the next Spinoff, Waiting Iist of Shelley & Nici, Tanner & Josh, Tiffany & Krista and Denise & James Earl, will be less active in Spinoffs of the Nation Song Contest and potential participation will be decided for one Spinoff at a time.

This particular decision about the participation in Spinoffs was made to prevent the over-saturation of song contests in the country, and the parallel universe countries in Internatia (Holy Kim Jong Il's After Death Hangug) and Adria (Asılı Orospu Ülkesi).

The situation in these parallel universe countries is as of 12th of September, 2016:
Internatia: Participation in ISC (monthly) renewed through Season 54 (3 editions), no participation in Spinoffs.
Adria: Participation in ASC (almost weekly) renewed through Season 14 (4 editions) after which participation might shift to every other edition, no Spinoffs.

These changes come due to the very packed TV season schedule that's coming up and the start of University next month.
