I've read all the posts in this thread and I don't understand anything. What do all the numbers mean, for example: 14 (08) 03 (Artist - Song title) #8 ?? Where do you base these charts off? Just at the top of your head or do you use like a third party software (last.fm, iTunes etc)?

I'd love to do my own personal charts but it's a bit intimidating stepping into a thread seeing everyone doing the exact same thing and everyone seems to totally understand what to do, but no matter how many times I read the posts over and over it's still like greek to me.

There are very big changes now. From the 15 songs in the list are 8 of these new. And songs which were many weeks in my chartlist are falling down and are out now: The Key, That again, Accidents happen... etc. And other songs had saved itself and fell down into the BottomFive. It's very interessting: There are some songs (for example "E.T") I never liked but after listening many times, they jump in my Top15.

Hey Guys~ This is the first time I have ever done this! So I hope everyone will enjoy the Chart I have compiled this week according to my very own playlist!! These are just songs that I listen to a lot these days on my computer. It has nothing to do with whats playing on radio or whats popular according to sales and stuff like that. It's all me, nothing else! ^_^ So if you find songs in there that are not in the charts, you know the reason!! Some songs are pretty current and new while others may be a few months old already, because I haven't been keeping up with what's new and at the top recently...so my playlist may still be a little old. I'm hoping to keep it up to date during the coming weeks, so the other charts from my fellow ESC friends will be helping me out a lot, as I will be listening to the tracks they have that I haven't heard yet! I'm looking forward to us sharing our current favourite songs with each other (if anyone actually ever reads this!! Hahaha)...That will be Awesome~~~

So after introducing myself, I'd like to introduce some of the songs I have on my chart...especially My Top 3 Songs! My chart this week has no movement whatsoever, no new entries or songs dropping out and anything like that, because it's my first chart ever...so as I go along the weeks, hopefully that part of my chart will grow and begin to appear slowly but surely.

OK, let me start from the bottom. At the No.12 position is Lenka, not to be confused with the German Eurovision Singer Lena , she's a singer/songwriter from Australia with her first single released not too long ago from her second album titled "Two." She starts off my chart with a very joyful, happy and romantic single. Very different to her first album, but it is starting to grow on me. Will she fall out of the chart next week, or will she start climbing is the question. You'll just have to wait to find out!

At No.11 is the only upbeat techno single, which is very unusual because trance is my fave music genre. I can't stop listening to it, so this is a surprise to me too! Maybe next week there will be more trance songs entering the chart!! I love Paffendorf~ Speaking of Dance, there's a very eccentric dance group charting at No.8 called Kazaky! They are a four piece dance sensation from the Ukraine. Their music is very unique, so I'm not able to categorise it in any particular genre...but that's also why I like them very much. They belong to their own genre. Some people may say they are a dance group, but I feel like they are more than that...so if you don't believe me, have a listen for yourself and tell me what you think! XDDD

I don't want to type too much bull, so let me skip through them quickly, with Lena from Germany "Taken By A Stranger" hitting my No.5 spot and doing very well in Eurovision!! Sad she didn't win, but this song is just growing on me day by day, it's scaring me too!! 3 I have this strange feeling that it may even reach No.1!! It's a very addictive song imo~~ Avril Lavigne's new song "Smile" is No.4!! Much better than "What the hell" I think! Smile is an awesome song....so start listening to it guys (if you heaven't)...I'm sure you'll all fall in love with it like I have~~

Into the Top three!! Yehonathan is an Israeli singer, but this single is from his first English Album released in 2009 titled "My Turn." So you might be asking why is it in the chart this late in 2011?? Well, it's because I just stumbled onto his music a few weeks ago...it's so so good that I just couldn't resist but put it in my chart!! Number 2 is the awesomlicious Jason Mraz!!! My all-time favourite singer EVER!! He's just a genius when it comes to song writing and music in general~~~ This single comes from his live performance EP he released not too long ago...and it's still jamming in my playlist!! Can't get enough of it!!! Come on everybody, let's go to "San Disco Reggaefornia!!!!"

And No.1 of course goes to the incredible and fantabulous Scissor Sisters with a brilliant song "Whole New Way" from their current album "Night Work" This album will remain in my playlist for a Very Very long time! This song was not released as a single, so give it a listen people. It deserves it and so much more!!! It's going to be a battle for the Top position next week!! Will they remain at number one?? We'll find out when we get there~~~
