Måns for UK 2020? no no no no no. Let him always be with his native country. Also in my wishlist for UK 2020 are Ellie Goulding and James Arthur.
BREAKING NEWS: Hit makers Samanda are signed to BMG.
The campaign to get them to Eurovision over Paul Potts starts here and now.
Can't believe the BBC have revealed our entry already.![]()
Is... is Foxes the new Hurts?
LastDreamer I will be shocked if you don’t join us on Team Samanda.
Steps are signed to BMG as well though, so we can’t allow ourselves to get too excited for Samanda just yet.

The possibilities ofis honestly endless. I really hope the BBC are reading this forum to see exactly who the fans are crying out for, before they accidentally select Rylan ft. Jedward.
The possibilities are indeed endless but I’m calling it now. It’s going to be one of these:
Alexandra Burke
Steps
Paul Potts or Susan Boyle
People are getting too ahead of themselves I think. There are BMG options available that very much fit the BBC’s way of thinking. My money is on Steps. We’ve had the Steps rumours for years now, and they’ve flirted with the idea of doing it. Alexandra Burke’s career seems very much at the point now where there’s not much to lose and I can just imagine her jumping at the chance to go without having to take part in an NF. She’s a diva who loves the limelight and one of the most realistic options, plus she has ties with the BBC (Strictly Come Dancing). Susan Boyle or Paul Potts because again, extremely BBC-esque. I’m very intrigued about what’s going to happen but I won’t be convinced we’ve lost our old ways until I see it. I’d be very much open to either Alexandra Burke or Steps though regardless, even if I think the latter are not what we need right now. I’d love to see us enter someone like Jorja Smith. That’s my desire. Something cool and authentic.
If not then someone unknown. I do agree people are getting ahead of themselves. I do think Alexandra Burke would be a good choice though, she is still a household name even if she hasn't had any form of a real career in a long time. She won x Factor at its height and was super popular for years after and best of all, can sing. I often think her song 'The Silence' would have been great entry back in 2010, its very ESC-ish with a key change and all that.Very Coral Segovia - En una vida. I really don't want any of the other 3, Susan is famous and has a great voice, but to not be ageist, is old and has the charisma of a dish cloth. Not to mention her 'problems' could prevent her from performing at all under the pressure of it all. Paul Potts flopped hard in the BGT the champions after being a clear producer favourite and pushed hard. Didn't even make the top 3 in the semi. He's literally a middle aged version of Muller Rice and lacks the same Charisma. Steps yeah would be fun and really enjoyable, but I could see an easy flop and would look like UK as usual and reinforce stereotypes. BMG has a lot of choice and i just hope they will make sure their name isn't attached to basically anything and ensure it is good. At this point, I don't care if it's an entry i will dislike as long as it's an entry I dislike that will do really well and not something I dislike because it's just rubbish heading for the bottom 3 which is usually the case. Ofc I would like to be able to enjoy it and hype it though. Jorga Smith would be a great choice, Grace Carter also has been mentioned a few times.

I’ve personally got a soft spot for Alexandra Burke’s Bad Boys. I think she’s a realistic name to hope for who could be fairly easy to get whilst still being able to generate some buzz. I’ve always been under the impression that decently known names here actually would do Eurovision given a chance. It’s just they don’t want to take part in naff NFs or to be told what to sing. I actually honestly think that Alexandra could go either way for us, but having someone sassy, confident and talented singing for the UK would actually be a pretty big deal. I’d really welcome it.
Also, Jorja Smith was just me dreaming. I don’t think she’s even on BMG. I’ve been trying to find an accurate, up to date list of BMG singers. The list on wikipedia has some holes in it. It would be interesting if we could jot down every British artist signed to BMG and see exactly what the possibilities are.
