Re: The 2013 'Expert' Panel - MONTENEGRO

After Montenegro

1. Robert - 89
2. Grandpa Waterman - 85
2. King Valentino XVII - 85
4. Barb E. Dahl - 83
4. Petronella Poetry - 83
4. Britni Spirsovic - 83
7. Emma Magnuson - 82
8. Morenik - 78
9. Scotty Too Hotty - 77
10. Alex Chandhok - 75
11. Glittery S. Bob - 74
12. Eau d'yre/Lizzy - 72
13. Dark Master - 66

No change at the top, but at the bottom Dark Master's predictable 5 points for Montenegro pull him dramatically closer to the rest of the pack, as we begin to see a gap emerge in the middle.

Re: The 2013 'Expert' Panel - MONTENEGRO

I just love it! I think this is one of the most contemporary, "non-mainstream" entries ever in the contest, and i think artists are now really starting to get how to bring this kind of music - both rap and contemporary electronica - into the ESC, in a way that fits the format. The first rap entries were in the early 90s already, but really failed, and there were always a talk of "inevitable modernization" of the genres represented in the ESC that didn't seem to happen. It seems now it's finally happening for real, and we can surely expect to see more of this in the next year.

3 points. Very interesting song. We need it between the ballads, that we don´t fall asleep. I like the woman vocalist Nina.

19 points are too much for this noise. I listened to it again now to see if my impression was right, and it wasn't. It was worse than I remembered, I couldn't tolerate to listen to it until the end.

I was gonna like the fellow islander's comment, but then I saw what her 12 pointer was and I was shocked. She now loves the bowling pin. She will be utterly disappointed, because it is a song that is bound to fail in Malmoe.

Montenegro goes high risk again - my respect for their gutsy entry. (Well produced, too.) xsalute

Too bad that I don't like it this time.
I'm not a big fan of vulgaritythis whole music genre and -style in general, and especially at eurovision: "Rappish" eurovision entries so far have always managed to make me cringe at some point...
1 point.

I know right? Poor girl, I have to suggest to her my personal exorcist, she's gonna need it.
