SWEDEN
Ooow, here we have Robin, the darling of the Swedish voters. He's just so endearing. He reminds me of a young deer my late husband shot in the woods of Leicestershire back in the early 1990s. Oh dear, what a deer. We had to buy a second freezer to store all the edible parts. After three months we had still not finished eating from it.
Many people were surprised Robin won Melodifestivalen because everybody thought Ulrik would take it.
Yes, it was all set up, dear.... The queen of Sweden informed me about it. Don't tell anybody but she's very afraid of that man, Christer Björkman. He doesn't just run Melodifestvalen, no, he virtually rules the whole country. That's why the surprise was even bigger when Robin won.
But about the song. The song has some interesting elements, especially the you-ou-ou parts, some people may be literally caught by its catchiness, but the song overall seems a bit bland. I can barely remember the song after I listen to a few other songs. The studio version sounds fine, but his live performance is rather weak.
Oh yes. And unfortunately his vocals are a bit shaky. I hope he can meet the high standards that a songs contest like Eurovision sets for its participants.
High standards? At Eurovision??? I'm not sure what you mean...
Oww, what am I saying? There shouldn't be any room for contradiction in my eloquence.
