(Ah)
Tout l'univers
Nos deux cœurs sous la terre
Au milieu des failles et des ressacs
Nous nous retrouvons au point d'impact
Comment soigner nos coeurs qui éclatent?
Tout l'univers

Yeah juries care more about vocal consistency throughout the performance rather than detecting 1 bump note. But I don't think it was bad per se, more like Rona Nishliu screeching and it worked for her. The juries have already watched the performance with the normal high note so they wanted to give them something different, they know that he can sing.
The reaction in the arena seemed to be massive again.

I am suspecting the staging will divide Europe a bit. I think this presentation will seem as a tad too dramatic and artsy for f.ex norwegian televoters.
So I still think a more "classic" expression would do favours to Gjons Tears.

Yeah I listened to the jury final yesterday and couldn't tell if that high note was good or bad. I was so surprised. Maybe it's just not what I was expecting or maybe the transfer via stream made it sound weird. At least the press guys said it wasn't a wrong note per se. I'm afraid about him experimenting so much, he's super great the way he did in the SF. But it could also sound epic. Like... yeah I can't tell if I liked the high note or not  I'm very curious about tonight.

He once again went for the big note in the third and final dress rehearsal, sounded less screechy to me. Though I still don't think it is necessary.

Imma be honest with you, I would be very disappointed if he does not end up winning. It`s funny because I actually have a very rocky relationship with the French language (thanks to my former French teacher ha) - but here I really don`t mind it.
Definitely gonna vote tonight!

Similar to last year's song but I think I like the earlier one more. This one seems to have even more heavy emphasis on the chorus and feels more repetitive. His voice sounds even more pained and while you can't deny the emotion I just wonder how many times I would want to listen to it. You can't help but compare the songs. The lyrics are more filled out in the latest song, last year's seems more enigmatic/poetic?

I am very hopeful about the televote actually. People do like the song and he comes across as very likable, also I think that folks seeing the stage with no prior expectations will be impressed.
Truth is I haven't been more nervous maybe since 2005 about a result but I will be happy with a good place nonetheless.

Gjon and his co-writers (Nina Sampermans, Xavier Michel and Wouter Hardy) won the Marcel Bezebcon award for best composition of the year by the voting all participating songwritters!

5/8 of previous winners finished in the final top 2 with two of them being winners (Euphoria and Amar pelos dois).
