Switzerland has a good draw, I'm even more convinced they can make it. The song is very instant and camp-fire catchy...

I don't think they can do it. I think it will get lost this year. It is to long winded for me and it is uncomfortable to watch.

I think they'll qualify from the semi-final. I quite like this song.
However, if the running order in the final is bad, it could be like in 2011, where they qualififed but finished dead last on the big night.

I really really love this song so much.
12 Points from the netherlands.
Unfortunality it is underrated compared to Denmark or Norway.

I actually prefer this to the over-hyped Denmark. People just seem to have a stigma against their religious affiliations.

Actually Takasa in Swahili means pure, or to cleanse or purify, so it's been well thought out.

Who cares about the religious implication of the people singing it! If one song is nice you don't have to see what's behind. So if someone likes a song and and he is for one political party and a singer is from another, this means you don't like the song?? Close-mind behaviour!

Imagine Takasa wins and in winning performane does a costume reveal to show their Salvo army uniforms underneath the entire time!
xhug
That would be amazing cause i still can't understand what's so politic to be banned in ''Salvation Army''.

Neither do I!! Unless a spokesperson points something out, I for one, wouldn't know anything by the name/uniforms.

1 The Salvation army represent a specific religion

2 They are against homosexuality

Do I need to say more

That's the thing... if I didn't read that comment, I wouldn't have known. And I wouldn't have known unless some commentator states so, or if there's something explicit in the performance/lyrics.

Ok, they might be Christians and homophobes, neither of which I am. But, so what? Should it retain you from voting for them?
Can you proove that Farid Mammadov from Azerbaijan also is not a homophobe? Or Gianluca from Malta? Zlata from Ukraine? Maybe they also hate homosexuals but just don't talk about it.
Even Carola, the queen of gays, was proved to find same-sex relationships unnatural(tho she later denied having said that).
I mean, you support those who might be hiding their personal thoughts on gays and despise those who openly state their views?
It means, what you dislike about them is not their opinion but their guts to speak out.
The best solution is to only mind the song and not their personal beliefs.
