"Märk Hur Vår Skugga" - Imperiet

A song from the 1700s, written by Carl Michael Bellman, whose songs are still well-known and sung in Sweden today. The lyrics are about the death and funeral of the wife of his friend, Löfberg. She used to work at the tavern where they all regularly went for drinks and was much beloved.

This is such a special song to me, and I hope at least some of you enjoy it. The atmosphere and mystique Imperiet brings to the song is so fitting.

Yes and that is what I'm trying to do as well. Share the Swedish songs I love and that are so special to me, hoping others will appreciate them just as much as I do.

Once again a wonderful song from Svealand. I've listened to it 4 times in a row to get the feeling of it and to know exactly where to place it. And yes, a beautiful and terribly underrated song. But it will remain in my player. Like that special one that you once shared with me and other great entries you've sent.

I knew that it would be hard to qualify, but I didn't expect so low result either.
