It’s basically a new song. I am not impressed tbh, but I wasn’t impressed with the old version either. Both are just ok and 0 competitive imo.

I think revamp is an improvement. I like it slightly better and it is probably more suitable to the staging.

I prefer the old version. The chorus remains catchy cause they didn't touch the melody, but its stregth was how unapologetically dated fun it sounded. Now it somehow lost its campness, like they took away its identity.
I had given for the catchy chorus and it remains 5 for the catchy chorus.

The revamp is an epic fail, musically, imo.
At the beginning, I thought that it would be an upgrade but it feels even more dated now? - I just think it's the harmonies/melody in the chorus. It somehow made sense with the very camp and trashy arrangement but now since the song has been deprived of that level of "trashiness" what is left? - It's almost comical. It even feels quite flat at parts (with that beat).
At some parts, it even feels like a completely different song - is that the song people have voted for in Benidorm?

Honestly, that's last place in the GF material.

I'm still as bewildered as ever with Spain's choices. This is 2009 eurotrash so disposable that you could exclude yourself from participating and no one would blink an eye.

Don't wanna sound too harsh as i do think you got unfairly treated a couple of times (Miki and Blanca Paloma come to mind) but let's just say it'd be shock of the year if this escapes the bottom 5.

I'm going to petition the UN to have revamps be added to the list of crimes against humanity.

The song had a lot of haters before (unjustly imo), and will probably have more after the revamp. I'd call it an act of self sabotage but it wasn't going to trouble the scoreboard in any capacity anyway, and I doubt this will either. That said, I didn't care about the result coming. It was easily my favourite in this trash as hell year, and Melody as an artist has so many good songs. It was camp, a (dated) throwback to late 00s/early 10s hits, dramatic and just pure Spanish. All of which were done in a way I loved and hyped, it was unapologetic in style. I knew this was coming after they said they would revamp it to make it more internationally appealing, but in doing this 'revamp' they've hollowed all the energy and soul of this song and taken away so much while adding nothing at all. I honestly don't know what Melody and her team were thinking, and I wonder how they came to the decision that this version is somehow better. I'm gutted, just like this song is.

I watched the video live on TV and well, it's basically the same piece of shit varnished with a more modern sound. Bottom 5 for us is guaranteed and sooooo deservingly.

And, I knew they'd do this - completely sanitise it, "modernise" it, and give it less character.

Vile, and sadly Spain is dropping right out of my top. You had one job Spain. Just leave things be. But no, you had to strip the heart out of what made me love this.
