I think that the live was ok. Fine, but remember that in May she'll have a better sound quality.

Omg, most of the spanish eurofans are so annoying.
They make a mess about everything!
Ruth or Brequette, English or Spanish, we're going to fail with this song, omg eurovision is full of politics, Brequette was robbed, Edurne failed in a few notes omg no we're Europe shame, we should withdraw, etc etc.

I MEAN...
STOP PLS.

Where? Everywhere... This year is the worst ever regarding Spanish people's opinions...

Can you please post some examples? :D

I thought this year was pretty positive :? Especially compared to last year where it felt like there was a new complaint/argument every day  Or is this year's issues more closed in the Spanish forums and not so much the international?

Edurne delivered a lively live performance. I had to wait 30 seconds to be insured she was singing live.
However, why such a small scene for her ?

I'm really looking forward for a stunning live scene by her because the song deserve it. Song is amazing and they ave to recreate something with dawn color and tissues with wind to power her singing!

I'm shocked by this positive reaction. Media and fans completely bashed Edurne this time

I kinda understand because it wasn't a good live performance. The staging.... oh well, we all know it will be quite different in Vienna. But.... then why this live performance in such a cheap show? I'm against of doing performances everywhere. "Amanecer" may look awesome in a great stage, not there.

Look, ABC openly says Edurne presented Amanecer "out of tune" and eurovision-spain talks about "kinda dubious live".

Their credibility.... I'm done. Those are the same people who were behind our last entrant (who had a pretty much worse everything) and complained because many people were not happy with our choice and didn't support her. This year they are not losing a single chance to put bums in Edurne's road. Rubbish.

She sang well enough, considering a few things i.e. background music almost inexistent, small stage, etc. Song is Ok and Edurne is OK but not sure why people keep saying this is a top 10, I don't think it is at all, but that only my personal opinion.

However... the symphonic version..... that's another thing.

After watching it a few times I think I'm a little less positive then before

She looked like she was concentrating a lot to make sure she didn't mess up the vocals, which she didn't. It was a serviceable vocal and nothing else really. It won't really win over people who are on the fence or hearing it for the first time. Unless she performs it a lot to get more comfortable with it I'm not sure how much of an improvement we will see in Vienna.

Also her movements seemed a little too studied and mechanical, no freedom or genuine sensuality (which I think is what she was going for). And the part where she showed her leg was kind of more comical then sexy. If she seems stiff now in a laid back setting I'm not sure what will happen when millions are watching on the big stage xshrug

My first impression after first hearing it was it could possibly scrape the top 10 like Pastora and Ruth but mainly place between 11-15. But now I'm thinking lower

It was her first time on stage performing this song. There's a lot to be improved, it's true, but she's so perfectionist and will make it better for sure.
Anyway, I can see Spain low in the scoreboard this year, and I agree it may be a fanwank song. I still trust in it (and her) anyway

I don't keep in mind the staging because the stage is seedy and tacky. xcrazy Same with the sound quality.

Vocally, she was good but out of tune a couple of times. I'm pretty sure she will do well in Vienna. The problem is her attitude. I think her movements look forced, and she doesn't transmit the dramatism of the song. Anyway, it's just a first touchdown and she will improve little by little.
