Lol well Manchester was ugly back then but the Irish bombed us and it was all redeveloped from the 2000's onwards. Im not even much of a fan of Manchester but it's not ugly

Well just saw this video. It can be clearly seen that she doesn't say that Manchester is uglier than the back of a fridge rather the the host of the show asks her that. She just says it's not the most beautiful place in the world but its good at its own and you have to look for the good places to hang out or something like that. Other than that she's super friendly and fun the whole show. I loved the part when the staff try to sing the chorus of the song Not that i do believe it but I can actually see it winning.
