I'm now watching the Slovenian national final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2020, EMA 2020, online from the UK. Here are the twelve finalists:

Simon Vadnjal - "Nisi sam"
Saška - "Še kar lovim tvoj nasmeh"
Gaja Prestor - "Verjamem vase"
Ana Soklič - "Voda"
Inmate - "The Salt"
Manca Berlec - "Večnost"
Tinkara Kovač - "Forever"
Božidar Wolfand Wolf - "Maybe Someday"
Parvani Violet - "Cupid"
Klara Jazbec - "Stop the World"
Imset - "Femme Fatale"
Lina Kuduzović - "Man Like U"

The winner will represent Slovenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in May. I haven't seen the online snippets of the songs, so I don't know what the songs are like. Anyway, may the best song win.

What happened exactly? My video stopped for a moment but I saw he got bruised.

The orb thing collapsed on the piano, it broke and the guy fell over and hit his head. He got up went to carry on but stopped and the camera went off and it went to the green room host. I thought it was a joke at first but i'm not sure tbh?

Yea, I don´t think that an actual injury like that would really be another Lea Sirk moment. No one wants to get hurt and that bruise looked pretty real to me.

I didn´t really see what happened so at first I thought that someone from the audience threw something at him.

Jesus Christ almighty, how much budget does this stage looks compared to EMA 2017 for example!

The only thing worse than this would be if they were to host a NF in a shopping mall like Greece did back in 2012.

Song 1: Simon Vadnjal - "Nisi sam"
A ballad with a rather quiet first verse, but the chorus is powerful and catchy. The light beams enhance the choruses. It's too early to say whether or not this is a possible winner.

I'm still a little upset that Saška qualified through EMA Freš when there were more interesting options but eh, I guess it's an ok song.
