Not exactly compared but it was kinda expected that some countries would follow the trend and send a song similar to the past winner...

i didn't compare it to euphoria per se, but with the current winner.

There are many versions of dance music and I can't really say this one (or even Cascada's, because they're getting the same comments) is that close to Euphoria.
And even if, let's say when Lena won with her pop song, did that mean the following year all the pop songs were some kind of copies of Satellite? Don't get this logic.

People need to stop comparing all dance/trance songs to "Euphoria". Quality aside this, along with Casca sound like Loreen's song.

It lacks of everything. Good singer but really, really average song. It seems to me as a mix of every random piece of music in existance. Slovenia will start thinking about withdrawing from the contest very soon...

With the big difference being that dance-pop was already a very popular genre in Eurovision before Euphoria and has also been the dominant genre in European popular music for a few years now so it is hardly the same as sending a hard rock song after Lordi winning.

This is actually really good, especially from a country like Slovenia who usually send really naff and boring entries. Nice experiment and it's paid off for me

Wish people would bugger off with the Euphoria comparisons every time a dance/pop song is chosen. We already had enough Loreen hype last year, we don't need her to be dragged into every conversation this time around (especially as none of the songs chosen so far are like Euphoria).

Fred, there is a word out that backing vocals will be added, which could mean they'll be working on the arrangement as well.
