I find it hilarious that Romania is being given the last spot two years in a row while Latvia and Estonia get the sucky spots. Yeah, looks really fair to me

Estonia was 3rd in first semifinal in 2008 and 2010 too (of course we didn't qualify then)

They NEED to change this corrupt non-transparent system till next year, it's just comical when they say they aim for more transparency but keep the corrupted "producers chose running-order" aswell as the new voting system which gives the juries more powers.

Cause it's last...I think that the places 9-13 are the best cause it's in the middle

Going last is good, there are a lot of articles out there breaking it out for you. Statistically late draws tend to do much better and most winners performed last in the running order and the vast majority performed in the second half.

I understand that you are just giving your opinion but the data and facts do not support that. A late draw is preferred? Why do you think basically every country that was given to choose its running order in previous years chose the last spot?

I'm baffled by the producer's logic on Malta going first. To me it's the opposite of an opening song.

Semifinal 1 is gonna be exhausting for the audience, as the best songs by far come first and last..... the rest is such a chore... I hope for Hungary that people don't turn off....

I am happy Romania is last, it will surely qualify now . Such a shame about Malta though. It would have struggled as it is but going first, friendly voting relations between UK/Ireland and Malta and a couple others wont save Malta now.

One great example is Romania last year, they were first (at least based on the average ranking made available to us) in the televote and they were the last to perform. Then in the Finals they performed 14th and immediately dropped to 7th place I believe.

I should point out that this applies mostly to the televoting!

I don't really know what to make of Valentina performing 12th. I had dreams of her closing the semi final to rapturous applause but I guess it wasn't to be. She's sandwiched between two incredibly tacky songs/performances. That should hopefully go in her favour.

I am pretty satisfied with the draw for . While it doesn't have to mean anything, it increases their chances of a final. And I really hope they will make it this time because the song really deserves it.
