Kinda dissappointing after all the fuss about the selection this year. I haven't listened to the other candidates and don't see any point now either, but i doubt this was really the best choice. Still far from the worst this year though.....

I've just re-listened to "Out Of The Twilight" because I wasn't sure about whether I liked it or not, and I'm digging it eventually. It's melodically superior to "Until The Morning Light" and more special imo: it sounds less "standard" chord-progression-wise. I look forward to the final arrangements because it does have a 70's vibe to it somehow, so I wouldn't mind a slightly retro-ish dark varnish. However, I hope they won't overdo it, it has to remain relatively balanced because Sara's voice can do wonders and should remain the leading element, it would be a shame to drown her in loud music (unless there is an alternative rock revamp coming up which would be interesting too actually).

I don't agree at all. I think Out of the Twilight was more smoothed over and mainstream than the more direct and powerful Until the Morning Light with her more pure vocal (the other singer ruined it). Also Sara's vocal doesn't need a chorus coming in, or some cliched modern chart vocal mannerisms that come in towards the end of Out of the Twilight.

Well it's one of San Marino's better entries and I could actually get behind it if it wasn't for the god awful rap part. I'm happy to see that some people are enjoying it though and hopefully will stay with us for a few more years to come.

I was about to talk about this as well. As expected, Sara's live vocals elevated the final version of the song. She really masters emotional precision through her voice and attitude.

I almost regret watching this final performance, because even with a not-so-good sound system, she outperformed everyone else.

I hope the Austrian broadcaster notices her and internally selects her next year to sing a moody ballad. She's too good not to tread on the Eurovision stage.

I'm sorry to destroy your dream, but the Austrian broadcaster, along with the Montenegrin, Belarussian, Hungarian and Italian one, doesn't select female singers for ESC. Didn't you know? It's prohibited by the law of those countries.
