I don't understand you people. I can't see (or hear) what is exactly wrong with this song, it's actually really nice. Sure, tastes differ, but this song doesn't deserve this amount of hate.

Their young and their voices haven't fully matured yet. And worst of all they were saddled with a dated song by someone who is just completely way past his prime

Before it was hate, but now after the semi it actually feels more like laughter at their expense which is in my opinion far worse.

I admit I laugh at the whole "No" thing but after that there is no reason to laugh

I'm really sad for these two. I was genuinely charmed by their song. Yes, in parts it was comical but it had warmth and heart to it. They were an adorable pairing and I believe their message of peace and love much more than I believe Russia and Hungary. I loved the performance (my Mum loved it too). I'm grateful they competed with this as they brought hope and a sense of comfort and familiarity when their song was revealed. I was having a dreadful time with all the National Final choices and then this joy suddenly arrived. Fairly quickly I was able to put certain aspects of the song to one side, and I allowed myself to get lost in it's ridiculous, surreal world. I loved it for wrong reasons and for right reasons too. Lovely young man and lady, and i'm sorry it ended like this for them. I'm proud to have been able to vote for San Marino again this year.


Let's look on the bright side though. "Maybe" was supposed to be Ralph Siegel's swan song, but he came back with this. He can't leave Eurovision on a failure now can he... *wink wink*

That was the best moment of the night I screamed when Valentina gave 12 to my favourite and I had a beaming smile on my face throughout their votes. Valentina and San Marino have made my night...
