No one's right or wrong about these things ever, though I do agree with you on your opinion of this song. But you have to let it sink in gentler. These people have been fanwanking this song for months now, in fact, they had been fanwanking the singer long before the song itself, so you can't be too hard on them.

Although I believe, as I always have, that they're in for a disappointment, one can never really tell. Reaching the final alone will be a victory and that's still a possibility.
