electric fence have a good song this year
if they go to eurovision they will bring something new that can do very good in malmö
there is also a possibility that it will fail
Geta Burlacu (Moldova 2008) and Dya with a song composed by Costi Ionita (Zaleilah's composer) will enter today in autitions. The jury is today in Iasi (NE Romania).
Why Geta Burlacu entered Romanian selection ? She would have more chances to make it in the aweful moldovan selection... Apart from Boris Covali, the moldovan selection has not lots of decent songs... !
Because any Moldavian singer who has Romanian origins prefer to represent Romania. Also we have in Romania Anna Lesko who is an Ukrainian from Moldova, but she don't care too much about Moldova or Ukraine. She prefer to stay here. Sure, there are also exceptions. But Geta or Natalia Barbu are good examples. Maybe because here is a high level in music and having succes in Romania mean to have succes in Moldova. Being succesufull only in Moldova is not a sure ticket for having succes in Romania.
I understand, it's just like France and Belgium !
But, I meant, she would have a secure place in ESC... Last year the Moldovan final was... well... obvious ! It was obvious Pasha was the jewel in the lot of bad songs !
At one moment I said ! Oh someone else who can sing !!! It was Geta Burlacu !
Finally a song I truly like! Well, I know what I'll be voting for if her, Luminita's, song gets trough. I just hope the staging will be good as well, but even if it's not I'll vote for Unique :3.
For me:
1. Geta
2. Natalia
3. Elena Carstea
4. Cristian Prajescu
About Luminita... I love and I respect her for always for what she did in 2005, but for the moment I don't know what to say about her song. The idea is not bad, but... I have no idea how it will look on stage.
From the songs posted on the last couple pages - seems like such a weak NF. The only one that is even remotely decent is Natalia's song. It does need some work though. Specifically, some bass or backing in the second half of the song to give it some depth. In its current form, it's too flat and doesn't develop much.
I rather like Tudor Gliga's song, even if the lyrics are rather cliche. I love the way the song starts with that piano :3.
Cazino has a very interesting and good video but... the lyrics don't seem to make much sense when it comes to the refrain (I specifically mean the: "She's killing for reborn" part), that and I'm rather sure it should be "it's like" and not "is like"...
So, right now the only songs I'd vote for are Unique and Inca o data. But I fear the moronic TVR jury will kill both...
