I'm optimistic we'll keep sending good entries in the next few years! Getting a good place in the ranking this may would help that as well

While I couldnt stand last year‘s winner song, I think this year‘s is a masterpiece. So simple, clean and honest. You want to close your eyes and let the music flow through your body. It‘s in my top 10.

I much prefer this to Amar Peis Dois. I think song this will surprise everybody & be the highest placed Automatic Finalist. It's beautiful & sincere, whilst also being more minimalist & modern.

It's getting better and better more I listen to it. I have to say I am really happy with Portuguese selection, that girl Catarina (2nd) was sooo good and sweet, I hope she will represent Portugal one day.

I didn’t watch the full show. Was only able to catch during their performance, but... the host anouced the interpreters as being Cláudia & Isaura. Hum... I mean if they really gonna do that it’s kinda stupid. It’s like: “I’m composing but I won’t perform I’ll only be the backup singer “ and then you win and it’s like: “ yeah totally! It’s a duet now’”

It’s almost like not having the guts to go to FdC and to compete and lose and then you win and all of the sudden it makes sense to have your name as a performer to get even more visibility.

To future composers of FdC: stop being a sissy and actually defend your own song even if it means you have a chance to lose. Don’t give credit to something only because you won. Is a little bit insulting. And sad.

I don't think in this case we're talking about lack of courage from Isaura to defend her song because she was afraid to lose. It's more like the song was so personal to her that she didn't want to sing it. However, I agree that she should also be credited as one of the singers because her presence is too obvious. She is not only a random backing vocal. She is always there and the way she interacts with Cláudia (even without directly interacting) gives her some kind of support.

By the way, here is the video of the performance from yesterday:

And then she won and all of the sudden she got the guts?

I ain’t buying it. She’s just doing because she won.

I agree she should be credited as one of the singers because she has a presence on stage and on the song
. She just should have done that since the beginning.

Personal or not she was on stage since the first day. She only thought about being a duet after they won FdC?

Doesn’t make any sense to me :/

They didn't think about being a duet after they won FdC. Officially, the singer is only Cláudia. "Cláudia Pascoal and Isaura" is a colloquial way to present them and acknowledge Isaura's obvious presence. But Isaura never stated that now she wanted to be credited as one of the singers.

By the way, it will not be the first time a composer is on the ESC stage (playing an instrument, doing backing vocals, etc) and is not credited as other than the composer. On the other hand, you also have composers that are not even there during the performance at all and are credited as singers (ex: Donatan & Cleo).

I never said I had a problem with composers being on stage, being as backup singers, performing an instrument or wtv!

Do you actually prefer the host ignoring the presence of Isaura? I think that would be senseless, especially after having them both interviewed in the show.

For me, this is simply a non issue. Things evolve. People were constantly asking who was the person sitting backwards on stage. Her presence is such a dominant part of the build up, it'd make no sense otherwise.

Can someone give me a reason why this song is only 16/17th on the betting odds ? This song is incredibly underrated and it should be number 1 on the odds or Top 5. It's a potential winner. Why the bettors can't even see that ? are they drunk ?
