Isaura said in an interview that the song is probably going to be revamped :) nothing major I assume

Love everything about the song, melody, structure, emotion, but think it is absolutely crying for a revamp, namely, using all of the 3 minutes granted. It's unthinkable to go to eurovision with such a short song. Has it ever been done before (besides Finland a few years back, that is)? Staging must also get an extreme make over.

It was played on the radio tonight. The sound quality is not the best, but this is the actual studio version ;)

Thanks for sharing! It's great to hear the instrumental section and the way it builds up (it's great in the 2nd chorus). I think it got a bit lost in the live version.

This is stunning xheart

Because RTP still doesn't know what HD is xdoh they were more careful with Salvador's video... hopefully there will be an actual videoclip, because for now this is just the national final performance

It's amazing how the TV broadcast is in HD, and the stream isn't bad either from what I've heard, but they still haven't figured out how to upload HD videos on youtube

If it's any help, I didn't feel this song at all to begin with. It took a few listens, and it's lingered with me since. I was listening to it with my ESC ears on at first which I had to take off to start appreciating what the song was giving.

Sensible words as always my dear, after all it's Portugal, one of my ESC babies, I've been their unconditional supporter the last ten years at least... I love Portugal, got it deep inside,I love Portugal, feel it in my mind... So today a bit less butthurt for the defeat of my favourite Joana and sweetheart Catarina I decided to give it a chance with a few more listens, with open heart and mind, and willing to be as slayed as more than 50 people here who gave them 12 points. It was a good decision not to grade it last night, because I would have been unfair. I can say after almost 24 hours, I dislike it even more and can't see Claudia delievering a good performance, her voice is weak and she couldn't hit the notes. I don't get any emotion although the lyrics are very touching, I have read the word "modern" in many other reviews as if for the sake of sounding like that is persé something to praise. So yeah, it doesn't work for me but good for these girls that they can actually serve emotions and feelings to many other people xheat

Not much of a melody, it depends on the atmosphere and performance more than anything. I much prefer Joana Barra Vaz - Anda Estragar-me os Planos which finished 7th in the final and got nothing from the televote.

At least we both agree though that Caterina was wonderful. I have a small handful of songs I really like this year, but i'm still missing a song that slays me so hard that it demands to be my number 1. I have maybe five or six songs at the moment I like about equally. Caterina would have been my insta number 1 and probably stayed there. I'm sad Portugal turned down such a charming song.

I think this is a really lovely song, it's delicate and it's real. But her vocals (and the backing singer as well) are letting the song down. I like her voice and tone, but she just isn't using it very well. The song isn't in Spotify yet, right? I would love to hear the studio version to see how it compares. I would rate this song with a 10, but I would rate her performance with a 6-8. I'm going to go with the 10 right now because the song is what I will be keeping.

It's a mystery to me why this song got so many 12 points. The song itself is too monotonous and seem to have only one pattern. No true highlight or any changes. The voice could be nice, but it's nothing outstanding. Hm.

I am so confused, because when I cried every time I listened to the Portuguese entry, it was March 2017. But now it's 2018, and I still do.

I actually find her very good in high notes..but in the lower register she has problem..it sounds at some moments she get stuck in lower parts..
maybe it is a thing for this act,. but I don't get, I'm simply not into it, it doesn't sound pleasent to me..composition is very good..

I will never forgive Portugal for letting Diogo (and another top-10 in Lisbon) go, especially when there was NOTHING of plagiarism in the song. Not even similar.

About this song.... well, it's at least less boring than the rest of the FdC. You guys chose well after all. I'm giving 5 points.
