His dress rehearsal is just ...
He recently said in an interview that he needed to do this in the rehearsals (improvise and sing has he feels in the moment), because so many rehearsals were driving him crazy.
His sister (the big boss xD ) "allowed" him to do that in the dress rehearsals. Obviously he will keep things as expected in the jury rehearsal and in the final

The other artists should take a leaf out of his book. In the second semi they appeared quite tense.

Reports are that it was even better. ESCTips said it was like Gabbani was his warm-up act.
Ouch. I'm just staying mildly optimistic for the time being. I'm afraid i'll jinx it otherwise.
Still, i can't really rely on those type of comparison between Italy and Portugal. They're both excelent in their own terms. And my two favourites in this whole competition (emotional aspect aside, of course).

ESCTips - The enchantment of the Savior. Press area almost completely silent. Portugal very strong for tomorrow. Giant reaction.
ESCToday - Another magical and clean performance by Salvador Tonight, bringing elegance to the arena and captivating the audience in the process. The simplicity of music and performance makes the Portuguese entrance even more magical as a whole. Continuing to climb the stakes, Portugal can have its best result ever.
ESCKAZ - Salvador with an incredibly sensitive performance. Artistically unique.
ESCDaily - Salvador looks like a clock in every performance here in Kiev. Today again. There are one or two notes that I can not stand as long as I would like, but that's details. This song is so unique that it remains difficult to know how the jury will vote. But it sure hit the vocals.
Eurovoix - A wonderful performance from Salvador, very strong and completely silent the arena and the press zone. They must have a great result.

Never have I been such a bundle of nerves like I am this year. I feel so emotionally invested that I don't think I can manage if he does not win. Seriously. I want the show to be over already. Daaaaamn.

Hard to blame. Endless repetitions are good for the crew working on the technical aspects of the show, but for the artists it must be a drag on their creativity.
