It's the second time I send Mickael to a contest here. I've chosen him to represent Portugal/France in the FSC spin-off where he sings 'Chama por mim'-'Call my name' with Anggun and I managed to reach 6th place there.
Oh! Not at all. Like CypriotGirl said, I didn't even know a Mickael Carreira's song was smashing around here. I'm not into World Vision (yet). I intended to send a song of him for a long time, actually. I never tried latin pop so it was about time.

Actually Miguel had no idea that Danca Comigo was in WV, I told him when he was thinking to send that one in FSC so he decided to send Viver a Vida instead!

That's the reason why I decided to hold National Finals. I think the other members should have a say on what they want Portugal to choose for the contest. I'll keep with the NFS, not because I don't know what to choose but because I want a group decision about that.
It's just because I'm not a huge fan of Portuguese latin pop. Some songs sound Pimba.But I knew people in FSC wanted a song like that from Portugal so here it is.
That's the reason why I decided to hold National Finals.
I think the other members should have a say on what they want Portugal to choose for the contest. I'll keep with the NFS, not because I don't know what to choose but because I want a group decision about that.

Considering Portuguese NFS this is what's going to happen in the future:
a) The 4 least voted songs in this second NF won't take part in the next contest.
b) No new songs will be added to the list for now. If I choose new songs, they will replace others and not increase the number of songs in the list. I will consider the change of Nelly's song for another one also with traditional roots from the album 'Folklore', not sure yet. I won't choose any song from Nelly that hasn't got any Portuguese roots, so the album 'Folklore' is the only option. Doing otherwise wouldn't make sense.
c) In every round the least voted song will be eliminated til there are only two.
d) After these rounds finish, I'll choose some of the eliminated songs from the first NF that I think that could do well in the contest (qualify
2). From that moment on NFS will have a maximum of 6 songs only.
