Re: POLAND 2018

She is ok, but that song is awful, sounds like written in 5mins. I bet she qualified because she won the Voice.

Re: POLAND 2018

No one gonna actually care. Cause they are no names.

Yes, they are. But as I can see they were fans favourite and received very good reviews. Only Isabell Otrebus was more popular in those unofficial rankings I checked.
That's why I said what I said. I can already see some sad comments about their absense. Like this one above. ;)

Maybe it is not a big deal. I would like to see them in NF and maybe other people are better indeed... anyway in my opinion not letting them perform is a mistake.

Re: POLAND 2018

Ok so my opinions on songs that are out atm:

1. Saszan – „Nie chcę ciebie mniej”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6mlsSF9uWoU
Hmm... Song is really mediocre. Nothing amazing.

2. Isabel Otrebus – „Delirium”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3L3jRvvtzM
I have to say that this is my favourite one. When I heard it the first time I had huge problem with the chorus but it really grew on me. I really like this song.

3. Ifi Ude – „Love is stronger”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTMq7HyW14Q
It has really strange "melody". She sings it really weird. I kinda like it but I don't think that it would be a good option for Eurovision.

I'm really excited to hear Monika Urlik's song because she was my favourite singer from The Voice during the first season. Also Maja Hyży's song can be interesting. We will see.
I have no idea who Pablosson and Prince Happy are.

I mean, fine. I get that there are few hundred people in Poland who are now sad cause it's the first time they checked our selection beforehand, watched these videos of who applied (most viewed one got what, 5k views?). And they got mad cause out of the horrible songs they've seen there, they made their opinion that Isabel is best, and these guys are 2nd.
The rest doesn't care, though. USoE are totally unknown here. In my opinion, 'Faces' they wrote was cool, but these new two songs were bland and would go nowhere on the Eurovision stage. I have nothing against them trying next year but with something much better and with 1 song, not 5, neither 3 nor 2. Write one good song and send it in, that's how it works. If you can't pick your best song, which would suit Eurovision the most, what's the point of giving you a try. Make up your mind first.
And these comments on their absence.. the number is not gonna even cross the line of what, 100 negative comments? 200? Such a small group of fans don't change a thing. And based on 10-20 sad comments I don't think that's a bad pick of our top 10. It's just unreasonable for me to let them perform in front of 3mln Poles cause, otherwise, 50 peope will cry on facebook and twitter (most of these are friends and family, I'm pretty sure of it).
I believe Orzech was part of the picking team last year and since he's the only one with knowledge about the contest, they asked him to do this again this year as well. Based on the 3 songs we know so far and 3-4 known names, this year is already better than the previous one when we just had 2 good songs. For example, instead of having some random three dudes pretending to be Il Volo, we got our own Aminata who could steal the evening with the right show.

And yeah, the pink one just won the voice. She's winning this. With that sh*t of a song.

Yes, this year's line-up looks already better than previous one. I see your point about USoE, but just to clarification: I don't cry for them. This is only a tv-show. What I posted was only an observation. I don't want to fight with your accurate calculation, because - obviously - this is a very bright remark: really small amount of people (comparing to population of Poland! 40.000.000!) was interested in all those peeps who put their videos in YT as a candidates, but many from this tiny group really liked USoE. That's it. Calm down.

Personally, I think that "Reborn" or "Fleeting Moments" is better than "Delirium" or Marta Gałuszewska Polish version of her song. I hope Ifi Ude will create good performance with her song and Gromme's entry is more modern than a little bit outdated "Without You". I think it can be a good national final, but we'll see.

Re: POLAND 2018

Ramona Rey has been disqualified because she used in her song French language. Okay, I get it - it stays in rules in regulations of this year's KE that entry must be in Polish or English. But Ifi Ude's song has some part in Nigerian! I like her song, but it is totally TVP-ish. Instead of a very individualistic song of Ramona, we got another toilet break like this one above.

I found very sad-funny comment on the Internet - government has been changed, head of TVP has been changed... but decision making grandpas of Eurovision in TVP are still the same.

What ?! Scandalous that a song is disqualified because it is in French! Speechless.

Premiere of "Light Me Up" in the next week with music video. ;)

Feels a bit bland, hard to tell anything basing on just few seconds tho.

Monika Urlik' song!

xbored

Ifi Ude's one seems interesting tho, maybe with right staging she could pull some Aminata-like moment (if she's chosen, but I still rely on Gromee).
