I think it's the very first time I miss your NF. I had no time to check the Green Room at all, but in a positive side, I didn't spoil the results I'm lookimg foward to seeing what you are going to share woth us this time, especially now that your entry comes after mine in SF2.

I noticed you hadn't voted for the first time. I almost gave you an @ but I didn't want to look pushy From my guess, I think you probably would have favoured the winning song (for once haha), and it did have a 5 point lead. I'm glad you're not in Pot C anymore because it now feels like i'm getting a 3rd Pot C member in my semi with you there as well I'm interested to find out what you've sent also. We never know what style of song we're getting from you. I hope it's the fabulously zany side of Cesar we'll be treated to again

WV64 - Part Time - Strangest Eyes​

Super happy and excited to announce that Pacific States WorldVision entry for the 64th edition is Part Time's "Strangest Eyes". I offered you four synth pop treats and you picked the most lo-fi and hazy of them all. Much hot sauce from you all there for your bold decision. I've been wanting to share something like this with a real outsider spirit for a long time. I guess Ariel Pink could be classed as such an artist but I went with one of his later, more polished songs. This is bedroom synth pop/rock in it's most raw and charming form.

David Loca aka Davida Loca aka David Speck (yes, am confused also) has played in the bands Toko Ri Get High, the Dazzling King Solomon Band and The Time Flys. Part Time started as a diversion for David and eventually became a full time gig. He's now released six albums on labels such as Mexican Summer and Burger Records, putting his music out on cassette, cd and vinyl. "Strangest Eyes" can be found on the 2015 release "Virgo's Maze", an album that brought together a large collection of songs that David had recorded over many years. It's my favourite song from the album and has over time probably become my favourite Part Time song as well, so i'm very delighted that it would seem others also appreciated it. The music video for this gives me eyegasm. I adore it so much!

NF Results

Results when counting scandalous illegal votes

(Asked a mod if I could properly count these if they changed the winner of my NF and the answer was no.)​

It was very close throughout. Early on it looked like "Night Drive" had a chance but things quickly took a turn for the worse there. "Thunderbolts of Love" was winning until the final set of points from Quen Revallslay. Her big push for "Strangest Eyes" helped it secure a 5 point lead. It feels the right choice as "Thunderbolts of Love" picked up three 1s. Poor "Visions of the Future" couldn't really get going, despite some succulent points from ShoeFlo. As you may know, I got a set of points from hufus. As he hasn't joined WorldVision yet I wasn't allowed to count them sadly, but I still wanted to display them here as he took the time to listen to the songs and vote. I appreciate that a lot. His votes wouldn't have changed the winner, in fact they would have strengthened it's lead, but he would have pushed "Visions of the Future" into a more comfortable 3rd place.
Note: I have displayed Calvin's votes wrong here. "Night Drive" should be 6 instead of 7.
