We're approaching NSC 200. I have a special theme thought out for this anniversary edition, and have seriously considered scorewhoring NSC 199 just to execute it. But instead I'll just sell this idea to whoever gets to host NSC 200, hopefully you'll like it.
The theme is Absolutely Everybody - which was supposed to be name of the super-congratulations that was first planned for NSC 50, then comes back with every milestone, but which never came to be.
The idea is an edition hosted by absolutely everybody, de jure host acting as a moderator rather than an actual host.
Confirmations - This part works normally. People send their entries to the host, but this is only to check for eligibility.
Semifinals - The host opens semifinals threads, posts who participates in which semi and nothing else. Participants then post their entries within specified deadline (3 days should be enough) in whatever format they wish - picture, video, text, etc.
*People who won't be available during that time may send their entry presentation to the host in their confirmation PM. The host will post it in their name
**If someone goes completely MIA, the host will just post plain text and link to their entry at the end
Comments should only be allowed in a separate thread, to keep the shows clean and readable.
Semifinal results - Along with the votes participants answer in PM if they would like to present semifinal results or not. Everybody is highly encouraged to do so. WLers may volunteer too. Once all votes are submitted, the host randomly assigns qualifiers to people who agreed and PMs them "Nation X qualified". Their job is to present that qualifier in whatever way they wish. Depending if there are more or less than 28 presenters, some people may not receive a qualifier or some may receive more than one. The host opens the results thread and waits. This may take a few days.
Final - Once semi results are complete, the host opens the final thread, copying the posts from the semi threads. Votes are collected by host, but only to control if they're correct.
Final results - After voting deadline, final results thread is opened and people present their own votes in whatever format they wish. It's suggested to add the current scoreboard with it. Again, this may take a few days. WL votes may be presented simultaneously in the same thread.
*If someone won't available during specified results show period, they may send their votes presentation to the host, who will post it in their name.
