Sheldon Riley - Insane – did not expect too much, but last is too harsh tbh Oratnitza - Ethiopa – ah, did so well with REJU though, unlucky...

Vera Martinova - Rodeo je jako svet – ahhhh it was so sweet... Tom Tom Club - Wordy Rappinghood – noooo seriously? one of the most memorable entries of that edition, Aimulli really deserved qualification here, why doing so poorly in both votings... aespa - Drama – hah, well... I guess I had too much expectations here, but I thought it was cool, really...

You get it! Never in a million years imagined I'd send them!
Every once in a blue moon, you just encounter that song that makes you willing to go out on a limb and set aside your self-imposed principles about what's too mainstream/unorginal etc., just for a moment. "A lemon, just the one, just one..."*
I had a feeling it wouldn't pay off, especially in this semi allocation, but unfortunately this result was even worse than expected.
I have no regrets though, and thanks to all of you who supported this out-of-character moment!
*A reference to the lyrics of my NSC 103 entry, which is a reference to a very old and slightly controversial NSC meme/lingo where the fruit lime represents "originality" and lemon represents "unorginality".
Disappointing result for me, I had much better hopes for this entry. I thought some nations would certainly give it points, but they must have ignored it completely
On the bright side, both 12s qualified, and I'm especially happy for the s1 one. It hurts to see just one point short, and that I could have just as well given them 10 points instead of 8.
