You used French, my bias leaked through. I'm pretty indifferent to Cécile Corbel in general but this one truly got me, don't know if it's because of the melody or the theme.


Congrats Šilček ! Holiday is kinda the NSC poster song, I'm not surprised it won. I remember we made the comment when it was sent by in WLSC 233 and won there too. I like it a lot at that time and even put it in my personal playlist. This edition I unfortunately didn't score it, not because it faded out, but just because the edition had been my favorite of the whole year and points were hard to earn.

When I first listened to Holiday this edition, I felt like I had known it my whole life... It was a deeply confusing feeling -- a feeling of nostalgia for something I cannot possibly have experienced -- but I enjoyed the warm familiarity of it. I'm very happy to see it win. Congrats ::hyp

The winning margin doesn't beat Christina Perri's 89-point margin (is that still the current record?), but it's pretty damn close, considering the rarity of large margins in NSC.

I am glad to see Rahasia-Diati ending so high, for me it is the best song of the edition. I knew it will be my 12 as soon as I heard it Great job Veronika!

The winning song has been living rent-free in my mind since the morning after I voted - when the results were tight at the start I was regretting not giving it 12 in case it barely missed out, thankfully that was far from the case.
