Well that didn't go as well as I thought. Well not that Marie Fredriksson would qualify, that I almost expected. But with so few of the songs I voted for in semi 2 not making it through. Oh well, thankfully the semis were pretty strong so I might find a grower or two from them at least.

Ok, so... When are the real results? Seeing as a qualifier doesn't make sense.

Seriously tho, thanks for all the points everyone, I really didn't expect this. I thought I was heading towards a new DNQ streak record.

As for my votes, I'm not at home right now, so I don't really know how it went, but it looks like only my 7 and 1 from semi 2 qualified. We've paid a heavy price for this qualification. I think half of my reju top 10 qualified tho, but not my 12.

This was my sixth time sending Iron Maiden, my favorite band of all time and the one music act that basically defined my teenage years. It was such a blessing, when I was all out of ideas for my entry they suddenly dropped this out of the sky! The band's first new song in six years, yet another amazing prog piece and with a great easter egg-filled video to boot. An easy choice.

NSC's always been a tough crowd for 'Maiden, so even if it didn't go the whole way this time either, seeing them up there at 11th and knowing they're getting muuuch warmer is still amazing!

I had no idea what to expect since the quality is so high in this edition (it always is, but I felt this was a whole different level), but I'm glad to see you liked the song. Thank you for the support once more

My main favorite in semi 1 made it through, but some really good songs missed out sadly
