Emotional bit:

Anna, thank you so so so much for taking on this edition . As people may/may not know, my dad suffered a stroke 3 weeks ago and subsequently died on October 24th, so that is why I had to give up hosting the edition. These past few weeks have been the most difficult of my life but knowing that my House of Horros was in good hands was such a comfort. I'm so sorry you weren't able to qualify and enjoy your entry in the final, but you have put on such a wonderfully Trollheimrish show on 0 notice, so you should be proud of yourself. I'm sure you'll get the chance to host your own edition some day!

Thank you all for the 26th place for my now ironically-titled entry "Am I Sad". I thought it would be nice to have an irl Doire artist represent us in a hosting edition, but this song took on a brand new meaning given the circumstances of my life recently. I don't know if I'll take part in NSC 187 or if I'll take a break while I rebuild my mental health but I'll worry about that over the coming days. Take care x

Looking at the full results, I got a 10 from Jemmuise in the semi - maybe you could've got me my triple figure finish in the final, but I'm more gutted to see such a perfect Hallowe'en pop bop sitting at the bottom of the board

Wow, what a ride! In such a strong edition and after several editions of successful qualifications leading to a low result in the final I kept my expectations at a minimum. All of sudden soaring up to and staying at a bronze position, and arguably my best ever non-winning result, I'm still in shock!

What a sensational unfold! I'd be lying if I said I wasn't sucker for so long-awaited triumph having debuted back in q4 2012. Such an euphoric, yet soothing feeling!

This couldn't come in better moment than currently considering this year is undoubtedly my rock bottom (non-Covid related, unfortunately) and I've been wondering how deeper down can I still be digged in.

Also, this song being sent at this particular moment is no coincidence. It is charged with messages of rejoicing to Serbian nation (hence the title 'Rejoice yourselves, Serbian people) particulary aimed at considerable ethnic share of ours in Montenegro, my homeland. After 30 years and even longer inherited and continuous rulership of pro-socialist party the last part of Berlin wall got demolished on recent elections. So this win must be a good singn of things to come!

Thank you everyone who appreciated the interpretation of gorgeous Montenegrin singer Danica Crnogorčević and felt the sentiment she has tried to convey - especially having in mind the barrier of foreign language which makes it even more impressive.

First off, a huge congrats to ! So happy to have such a wonderful song be the winner!

Second of all, my heart, love and support goes out to our OG host David @doctormalisimo! I'm so sorry for your tragic loss. Can't even begin to imagine what you're going through. It couldn't have been fun to abandon ship either amidst hosting. But it was truly an honor to pick up the baton from you, and with such a perfect theme for my horror-loving sensibilities.

I really wanted to do David's House of Horror theme justice, and then my mind just started spinning and I went a little nuts all in on the creative side of it, and it was pure joy to come up with these designs. My graphics software didn't agree though, as it shut down on me several times due to memory overload.

Last of all, thank you guys for all your wonderful comments and words of encouragement. Love this community! It was definitely a huge unexpected undertaking, but I was more than happy to do it, despite the lack of sleep and hours upon hours of grinding.

What will I do with all this spare time tomorrow?

I am surprised, but it is a happy one that won, it is a beautiful song with a chorus that really catched on to me. Congratulations! And well done hosting Anna, loved everything about this!

Wow congrats on your well-deserved win!
The song isn't really my cup of tea, but I understand why it won. It's so epic, powerful and definitely has those special winner vibes.

Overall the results are quite nice, especially I'm happy that (my 12 points) did so well.
A bit sad that the rest of my top-3 ended up quite low, but at the same time it's quite good that I voted for the half of the eventual top-6, I guess.

Oh and of course big thank you to everyone who supported us in the semi, especially , and for the 12 points (wow, that exchange with ).
