Fave movie: it's still the same since I watched it in 1997: Titanic. When I love something, I REALLY love it  I was already a romantic with 7 years old.
Last movie I watched: I'm watching now The Ring... again (I've paused it). I've watched it 100 times. As I say, when I love something...

+1 for Titanic

As for the last movie I watched: Red Sparrow
For those who like those kind of movies, I highly recommend. :D

There's a travelling exhibition about Titanic, I don't know if you've had the chance to see it in your country but if it ever comes, don't miss it.
I went with two friends in Barcelona and the other girl and me ended up crying

fave movies in my case are the Harry Potter series, same with the books. Anything else would be a lie, there was a time that my whole life revolved around the series and that is not an overstatement. After I saw the last movie in cinemas, I felt like my life had lost it's meaning xDxD Btw I still believe one day I will receive my letter from Hogwarts, still waiting for Hagrid to come and save me from this muggle world :D

atm, nothing really but I could join in Olga and re-watch something like the Ring. I also watched another horror movie not long ago ''As above, so below''. It was pretty funny, recommend

Ohh yes, how to forget Harry Potter! I made my first virtual friends because they were all Harry Potter fans, and I still talk to some of them and it's like we are still 11 years old  Daniel Radcliffe was my first platonic love xlove

The last movie I watched was The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

I like horror, but more so when it's mystery and on the physiological side of things (I hate body horror). I love Texas Chainsaw Massacre though. I think it's a masterpiece in it's genre, and everything that has come since hasn't been able to "tastefully" create that same feelings of dread and utter helplessness. It's weird how the film has the most frightening and sickening premise, yet you actually see very little in terms of gore. It's true horror in the way it doesn't need any visual shock tactics or jump scares to frighten you and stick in your mind. It probably has the best chase scene in any more ever as well.

My favourite movie ever is Valerie and Her Week of Wonders, though Inland Empire, Twin Peaks Fire Walk With Me, The Shining and The Orphanage are up there too. Also, I cannot forget the Tommy Wiseau masterpiece, The Room.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Shining xheart TCM I watched a long time ago, The Shining only recently actually

Btw Idk but with 'The Shining' I was rooting for the kid to stay alive obviously but the mother I could not care less about, to be completely honest I was kind of rooting against her xrofl but yea that's probably just me. In general with horror movies I'm not always rooting for everyone to stay alive tbh, sometimes I root for the villain as well. I promise btw I'm not a serial killer. Anyone else same feelings? I was also #TeamTom with Tom&Jerry

Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I love how it's based on true events also, that movie.

xshifty I often find myself rooting for the 'villian' to win in movies/tv series. I often find the good guy too cliche or annoying and not want him to win. In the recent tv series I found myself rooting for the 'villain' commander and the Main character against the 'hero' guard and the main character. I remember RainyWoods telling me once how he was rooting for Kursty in Coronation Street who at the time was abusing her Boyfriend Tyrone and beating him. Movies/tv dramas all bring out the sadistic side in us. Jerry was a little shit always teasing Tom. Always was, and always will be #TeamTom Would have loved to see karma get served and Tom get his mouse.

Bringing out my darkest secrets?xshifty And gosh, how long have we actually known each other? Kirsty left Coronation Street in April 2013, and I do remember talking with you about her storyline at the time. I don't support any beaters though, but I remember sympathizing with Kirsty and wanting her to be given a redemption storyline. She was abused herself by her father if I remember correctly and so it was easy to see where everything was coming from. She was such an amazing actress. You felt everything with that storyline. It annoyed me though how they didn't try to turn her character around and fix her mental health issues. I thought the character was great and very deep, and they should have done more. She was a keeper in my opinion. I think I must have had a secret crush on her tbh.

Also DenizESC Tom >>>>> Jerry. I'm maybe not so much the same when it comes to horror movies though. I can't think of many instances where I root for the villain, though obviously often these movies have characters especially made for us to hate, so that we enjoy more gruesome moments we probably shouldn't.

added 2 'to watch list'. Even though I love horror movies and think they can get quite creepy, I've never actually been really 'scared' by one so I accept the challenge!

Ok, great! Although i should warn you that it is not conventionally "scary", but rather sick, disturbing and shocking.

A l' interieur is another french gem that you should also discover! :D

I've heard of it but haven't seen it. A quick google image search though tells me that it probably isn't a movie for me. Looks very much on the body horror/torture side of things, and I can't watch those movies. The trailer I just watched makes it look very interesting though.

Yes, it kind of falls in the category of "torture porn" movies, many people cannot handle them.

And since i'm in a suggesting mood tonight, you guys should also try to watch a Belgian one, "Raw". :D

EDIT : When i mention "martys" and "A l' interieur" i am ofc talking about the French/original versions of them. Do not even think to watch their remakes, they are crap.

Re: NEUS | WV we talk film | movie squad itt

same here as Kai btw, I like horror but am not that much into the extreme gory ones. Blood at times, ok. But not that much into the movies that are just 1-2 hours of people screaming, being sliced into a dozen pieces and then finally drowning in their own blood as death.... Maybe that is a little too detailed of a description lol

I saw the human centipede xheat

I haven't seen that yet but will when I can. Calvin and I were getting hyped for it. I'm bummed actually as Tommy Wiseau was supposed to be a central part of my last WorldVision hosting edition, but I completely got flustered, and forgot to include him in my shows.
