....and may I add: a better performance! Vanja needs to improve. Watching his performance both his voice and his stage performance seem rather stiff and cold, not suitable for the song.

Oh, I see what happened here. When RTCG saw that there was the danger of a female singer winning their own NF, they made another round of voting in order to favour the only man competing.

Bland try of copycatting Željko Joksimović's success formula for Balkan ballad ...

Although I do not dislike it as I'm big fan of Balkan ballads but somehow, really do not see anything that impresses me here but only desperate try of recycling well-tried formula. Well, Željko has begun this trend in 2004 but dear Vanja it is 2018 and there is almost no difference in elements you are trying...actually it is...they are worse and more bland and Vanja is not that good performer with almost no charisma...Maybe he could approach to Minacord studio now so that song get some revamp and actually this try to be given some chance...

Parts of it sound like 2006 to me
I am afraid it's one of the worse Balkan ballads I can recall... I give , maybe it will grow on me.

It is not that this song is bad, it is just that it has NO redeeming qualities whatsoever. It feels are just recycling the same balkan trend they've been successful with, yet the quality of each subsequent entry drops a little further for me:

I do adore my Balkan power ballads, and while this isn't one of the stronger ones I've ever heard, it's at least something I enjoy. Vanja's voice is right up my alley, and I'm loving how this song builds from the slow, melancholy start to a huge climax. It overall reminds me of some of the mid-00's Balkan ballads at ESC - especially Lejla - which is by no means a bad comparison.

That said, the production is lacking, things are a little messy, I struggle to remember much past the main chorus hook, and there are just generally lots of little areas needing improvement all over the place. I'm imagining this'll get a revamp, and if it gets a good one, it has the potential to be one of my favourites for the year.

In its current state, though, there are just too many issues for me to give it high points. As a result, I'm wavering between 5 and 6, but I'm happy to see another native-language Balkan ballad back in the contest, so it's 6 points from me for now.
