Listened through the finalists and I do got 3 songs that I think was slightly better than the rest. The band Che-MD is probably chanceless, but I still enjoyed their sound, feels deep and important, even if I don't understand a word. Anna Timofei seems to have an awesome voice and really makes "Endlessly" sound much better than it is. But if I got to choose, then I suppose I go with "My Lucky Day" and Doredos. It is far from perfect, but it is catchy and a little fun. But I have a hard time seeing Moldova pass with any song in this final, which is sad, since everything worked so well in Kyiv.

The DoReDos song reminds me a lot of "Slivovitza, Kebabpizza" that competed in MF 2008.

I am greatly saddened that this masterpiece didn't make it 1

I am rooting for Endlessly now but Moldova rarely sends ballads and this NF is probably fixed for Doritos anyway

This song is not about pedophilia or having sex with 13-year-old girls. Please, don't treat it like that and try to reflect deeper on its real meaning!"

I know you're outspoken here, but I would have expected better from you than such a mean stab where you attack his looks and supposed mental state. You don't know him. To me Sasha is an underdog and unsung hero, who never gives up on his passions and dreams.


And anyone capable of writing something like "Wounded Swan" has my respect. His two ESC attempts from 2015 are highlights from my time spent as a fan of this contest. Seldom do I come across NF songs I love as much as "Wounded Swan" and "Emigrantului".

Yeah because we need to be nice about someone singing sexually about underage girls right? I don't know about where you come from, but here it is by law labeled as a mental disorder so ... fugly and talentless are subjective, I can give you that...

You know what damage control is right? The backlash was huge (rightly so) and still is haunting him to this day (rightly so) and I guess we can believe his "story" (you do) or not (I don't, because if you listen to it and put it into context it's pretty much a pedophilia anthem). The guy was an adult singing about underage girls in a very inappropriate way... enough said really.

Having opinions about looks is natural and subjective, you don't need to agree of course... was it unnecessary to point it out? Perhaps so, but people talk about looks constantly on this forum (both in negative and positive ways)...

Okay finally made my mind up about this selection:

My fav is Minds & Veins, rly fresh song but the live is quite shaky so I hope they improve. My Lucky Day is so cheesy and bad that it's already good again. Really enjoy the instrumental parts, would be a nice winner as well. Otherwise I also quite like Alien, so one of these three per favor Moldova.

For me the strongest Lineup so far this NF-Season (and that from the poorest Country in Europe!)

After having listened again to the 16 Finalists I would be alright with anyone of these 5 Songs winning:
Doinita Gherman - Dance in Flames (Love her accent)
Doredos - My lucky World (So Eurovisionish, reminds a bit of the 00s)
Lavinia Rusu - Altundeva (Romanian is probably the most beautiful Language in Europe)
Nicoleta Sava - La Esencia des Sur ( Has huge stagepotential)
Vera Turcanu - Black Heart (Reminds me a bit of Ana Johnson - We are (I think it was 2004))

My favourite is "Minds & Veins" by far. It is a musical storm. The atmosphere is stunning – it makes me both ecstatic and emotional. And those vocals blend beautifully. I love dance ballads like this.
