It's like "Yodel It" meets "Lautar", not something i asked for. It just tries to be funny and silly and doesn't even succeed. The vocal harmony bit at the end could have been the main hook of the song instead....

Some chosen performers wish they could sing so "off key". Even certain winners from the past (I like some of them tho ). I don't bully performers for their English.

To be honest, I wasn't expecting so many dislikes. It's not the most contemporary song of the year (yes, it's more 2008 than 2018) but this isn't a tasteless joke entry or something like that. It's a coherent song, the singers' voices are not horrible and it has a nice stage performance. This seems a valid entry!

Maybe now we are in an era where everybody is so intellectually superior that simple catchy songs are deemed as inferior? I don't know.

The problem for me is that it feels half-arsed and pales in comparison to Moldova's other entries in the past that have been similar to this in style. I feel absolutely no urge to play "My Lucky Day" again once it's finished. It's not a dynamic song at all. It's extremely one-track throughout. I like having this sound at Eurovision a lot (I really do), but this is just far too repetitive in my opinion. It's kind of hard to get through it and I don't enjoy the performance. I want songs like this at Eurovision. I just want them done better.
