All three baltic countries are looking really good this year! I would say that baltic gonna reach top 10 this year (at least).

For me, the Latvian song is actually the only good Baltic entry. Estonia is nice, but overrated to extreme margin and Lithuania is just meh.

If people think this song is experimental or a "challenging listen" they honestly must be a little too accustomed to Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber...

The chorus hits you like a brick which makes it pretty radio friendly imo. Somewhat like the songs Sia is getting heavy airplay with atm.

This song is not hard to listen, it grips you from the first second and makes you listen. It's the perfect song for the Eurovision, definitely will shine with a good stage presentation. Latvia can win again (and after it i hope Turkey wins again  )

How did you guess my 2 favouritist artists of all time!? I simply live for Biebs and Swiftxlove I must admit that I do find their music fairly challenging also, but I suffer for the arts and the enrichment I get from listening, putting in that commitment.

They are both way more experimental and difficult a listen than Aminata actually, and also my number 3 favouritetist artist of all time (behind Biebs and Swift) Nico.

Jokes out of the way:rolleyes: I still would say that Aminata's voice isn't the easiest thing to listen to. There is nothing else I find challenging about the song, just the really screechy vocal. It doesn't help that i've got quite fragile ears to begin with. I think the song is going to appeal to a wide audience and is a big part of why i'm predicting a possible win for Latvia. It does have that massive, incredibly powerful chorus, and that is what is going to draw in the masses. Then you've got verses which are interesting and sparse. That's going to appeal to another audience. As nofuxCZ said, the song is uniting everyonexyes

The cat screeching backing in the final version is really annoying and confusing though. Why god why. I can't even listen to that version, it's so distracting.

Surprised to see people predicting this as a possible winner. I like the song, and I can see how others might love the song, but... how on earth would something like this win Eurovision? It might be in with an outside chance at getting into the top 10 or something, but it feels mostly like a borderline qualifier that'll languish somewhere in the teens in the final positions. I'm saying it now, this won't come close to winning. After Crisalide in 2013 and Same Heart in 2014, it seems like we'll have Love Injected for 2015 - the pretty-good song from a country with a weak track record, which gets massively overhyped on forums, and then is largely ignored in May.

I could be wrong, or change my mind - it's certainly a dark horse, and it's the strongest song Latvia's sent in quite some time - but it just doesn't feel like a contest winner whatsoever to me.

Here is the existing studio version, but with any luck, maybe she will revamp it and make a video

Tells you a lot about modern chart music doesn't it lol. The production is hyped up at the chorus because without that it wouldn't make any impression.

I get what you're saying but "Crisalide" and "Same Heart" were both sort of dated. They were in a Eurovision world of their own. They were both dodgy in many ways (and I say this of course as a massive Valentina fan), performance wise and the song production. "Love Injected" isn't something you'd associate with Eurovision. It's a really fresh, "edgy" electronic number. It's accessible whilst still having an interesting craft and production. The sparse verses are for me as big a selling point as the gargantuan chorus, and in fact, the verses make the impact of the chorus all the more hard hitting. It's a song of light and shade. Latvia haven't got a good track record of late but I really believe this will be the song to get them right back at the top again. It stands out in a "Suus" kind of way, in that whether you like it or hate it, you're probably going to remember it. It's a much more accessible song also.

I think the real ace up the sleeve for Love Injected is that it is exactly what I would call a "visual performance" and will look incredibly striking and stylish on stage.
The right camera angles capturing the hand movements, that overhead shot of Aminata staring above into the camera before the bridge section....it had so much potential to look amazing. I mean it already does on that small Supernova stage, imagine how it could possibly look in Vienna?!

I think the juries will react positively to the original and modern presentation of it.

Now we know our next newcomers to the contest: Kazakhstan (finally!), Kenya and Indonesia. Makes sense!

I think that this is the best song out so far. I hope that they will rework it a bit though. The chorus is good, but it should have a little longer notes (at least the last chorus) and maybe even a slightly slower tempo to bring the song to the next level.

The song reminds me Suus a little and with an awesome staging and slight rework could get a good result.

So I've come to the conclusion that the backing singers are wonderful. They add so much to the wall-of-sound effect that makes this a Eurovision winner. Could the sound balance be a little more Aminata and a little less them? Certainly. Does that change how much the backing vocalists add? Absolutely not.

With the perfect light, the perfect clothing and the perfect running order draw, then it can't go wrong!

But agree; turn down a little bit on those backing singers - it's Animata's moment, not theres.
