Si comincia lunedì 18, in seconda serata, con Eurovision Song Story, uno speciale di 45 minuti sulla lunga storia della manifestazione: un appuntamento nato agli albori del processo d’integrazione europea, ma rinnovatosi, al passo coi tempi e le mode musicali, sino a diventare, negli ultimi anni, un grande evento multimediale, seguitissimo, oltre che da pubblico televisivo, anche da quello dei social network. Il programma, per la regia di Giuseppe Bucchi, sarà commentato da Filippo Solibello e Marco Ardemagni e proporrà interviste ad artisti partecipanti alle scorse edizioni, come Nina Zilli, nonché ai rappresentati dell’Italia al contest di quest’anno, il trio Il Volo, vincitore dell’ultimo Festival di Sanremo.

Rehearsal is quite weak..I expected at least THE BEST vocals since composition is horrible..but in the end this will end almost at the bottom of my list!! And hopefully after that unattractive rehearsal, this will flop..

That was the 1st rehearsal at 9.40 am. The clip is taken from the very first rehearsal, so I'd wait. I think that they should take 40 seconds after all the rehearsals not the first one when the singers have to try everything on the stage (vocals, staging, microphones, earphones and so on).

They had some sound issues in the first rehearsals. They said Ignazio was not happy because he couldn't hear himself in the earphone properly. That's why he keeps touching it in the 40 second clip. They also said Gianluca kept signaling for them to turn the sound up. But everyone said they sounded great although they were clearly laidback and not going all out so they should be fine.

The only real criticism I have read (besides slight reservations on the backdrop) is that they seem to be performing for the arena and not the cameras. Specifically Piero missing the camera multiple times. But that should be easy to fix in the next rehearsal.
