Take a look what we've become
It's been so long
Getting you out of my life
I feel so strong
Set me free
Feel my beating heart in perfect
Harmony
Don't let me down
I'ma I'ma Ah
I’ma I’ma Ah
Feeling like in prison
Looking for the reason
I don't wanna say goodbye
Feels like no tomorrow
Everywhere that I go
Babe I'm gonna lose my mind
Just another story
Tell me not to worry
And everything will be just fine
Used to be your treasure
Now I'm gone forever
Think I'm going back in time
Set me free
Feel my beating heart in perfect
Harmony
Don't let me down
I’ma I’ma Ah
I'ma make it on my own
I’ma I’ma Ah
חלאס עם השיגעון
I’ma I’ma Ah
I'ma make it on my own
I’ma I’ma Ah
חלאס עם השיגעון
Life has been so easy
Used to call us cheesy
It was paradise
In my bed so lonely
You're the one and only
Hell I know I paid my price
Clock is ticking tik tak
Everything is צ'יק צ'ק
And I don't know what to do
People tell me honey
יאללה בלאגנים
One day dreams will become true
Set me free
Feel my beating heart in perfect
Harmony
Don't let me down
Set me free
Feel my beating heart in perfect
Harmony
Don't let me down
I’ma I’ma Ah
I'ma make it on my own
I’ma I’ma Ah
חלאס עם השיגעון
I’ma I’ma Ah
I'ma make it on my own
I’ma I’ma Ah
חלאס עם השיגעון
I’m so awesome
Come and get some
What are we living for?
I’m your reason
Spicy season
Like we did before
Let me take you higher
Set the place on fire
2021 degrees
Feel my beating heart and set me free
Set me Free
Set me free
Set me free
Set me free
Harmony
Don’t let me down
Just set me free

The tricky thing comes that out of the 5 female uptempos (besides Destiny) who will get more jury love.

If Eurojury is any indication, Eden will get the most support out of the 4. But then that's not a good indication since the actual "live" performances are not used.

If the Israel delegation has come out with a great staging, I wouldn't be here so worried as I'm sure that will guarantee Israel with lots of jury support to help Eden get through to the grand final. Now I'm not so sure anymore especially when it appears that Israel shares similar staging with Croatia even though Eden is a better performer between the 2.

But yeah I agree with you about Efendi probably appealing more to the televoters, but like I said I think Eden will do better with the juries so question is only how well will they both do in the combined voting? xshrug
yeah i believe the same. i guess it also comes to the difference between them in both parts. i believe aze would be like 5th or so with the televoting (probably below ru/ua/mt/lt) and something like 11th or 12th with the juries, while eden would be around 5th/6th in the televoting, but like 15th with the televoting, sadly :(

You might be right... unfortunately... we'll have to see...

Although 15th in televoting seems a little too low no? I can see at least a handful of entries having less appeal so that would bring Eden to 11th - 12th in the televoting at "worst", so similar scenario as with Efendi but switching the voting groups out.

So depending on how other entries will fair, I could see them ending up in the bottom 10 (at worst) and qualifying... at least I'm trying to stay optimistic for now (imho they both deserve top. 5 in the semi but yeah I'm not delusional).

yeah, maybe it's too low given there are many contestants in semi 1. maybe 13th-14th? i think a similar situation with :lv: 2018 (despite both being totally distinct) - good position on the jury, tragic in the televoting, ended up barely missing out

I hope you're wrong but we'll see, Latvia 2018 is a slightly odd comparison though as it's more Hooverphonic territory but if just to describe an outcome... we'll see...

But then again I can't see why this would do so tragic with televoters though? In the end of the day it's still 10/16 entries that will qualify (so a majority in fact), and I'd say this has more televoting appeal than N. Macedonia, Belgium, Slovenia, Romania, Norway, Sweden, Australia...

oh in terms of genre, sure. but in this case is more about placements.

i think it will place above n Macedonia and slovenia, at least, but maybe the other divas cancel her out? mainly croatia for having the most similar style to her and probably share the same public.

I understand...

I do get the "logic" about similar entries cancel each other out, but then again it would also require worse entries or entries with let's say less appeal to fair proportionally better as well, and I don't see why the public will start to vote for an entry that is generally less likable just because some entries are "similar"...

How Eden is going to edge the other female uptempos will be her charisma and vocal abilities.
I have read mostly that Eden exudes some warmth when she performs, she looks very inviting.

I think it's too late for the delegation to go back to the drawing board and change the staging (especially the color scheme).
What they need to do now is to make staging tighter, get the camera angles right, do the dress reveal correctly and have the dancers do a tight choreography. The rest is really up to Eden's ability to perform (especially her whistle notes). She may snatch up some good amount of televotes together with a good chunk of jury votes.

But all in all, Israel should be proud of its product since it's a Israeli-produced package? The staging director, the stylist, the make-up artists, the songwriters, the dancers, the artist (ie. Eden) are all from Israel if I am not wrong.

I only wish they have bring some elements from the music video. I really love the silver glittery outfit she wore in the music video, that would have been a great outfit. Instead of blue + pink, the grey + pink palette actually looks really good. It's just unfortunate she is coming after Croatia with the same colour palette.

I am not sure if the stunning whistle note can save this song from the semifinal. It could be enough to pass Romania though.

I can't stop watching her second rehearsal help! She's hitting those high notes looking effortlessly and tongue-in-cheek xheart

It's one of those songs which you like the studio record but you LOVE the live performance x12points

I've been telling myself not to get too invested, I mean at the end of the day, it's just Eurovision. Life still moves on even if she NQ (*touch wood*).

Having said that, I've been trying not to read the reviews of her rehearsal performance but I can't help it in the end. There are a considerable amount of comments from those who watched the full rehearsals mention that Eden was pretty shaky with her vocals. From what I can gather, besides nerves, it is likely to due with the dance routine and also how they move around the stage. I hope she manages to find the balance to juggle her vocals with the dance routine. Or they find some ways to cut down any unnecessary dance moves for her. In my opinion, in order for her to edge out her competitors, her best bet is to get the jury support as I feel her song has the most jury appeal out of the female uptempos (beside Malta). Understandably, she is probably under tremendous stress especially having to worry about the safety of her loved ones back home.

I really hope she will be able to do her best in the jury show and the semi-final and convince the juries and viewers that she deserves a spot in the grand final. *fingers crossed*

I know you can't downvote an entry, but every potential vote lost still has an impact.
I think you can vote up to 20 times from one phone line, so in the ESC 2021, someone from Netherlands, Germany and Italy could vote once for every country other than Israel (as they're only voting, not competing, in that semi-final). People from the countries actually competing in the First Semi-Final (other than Israel) could vote once each for every country other than Israel and their own. Effectively that's one way someone could "downvote" Israel - give one vote to every country other than Israel (and your own country if competing in the First Semi-Final).

This wouldn't consider "downvoting", this would mean she is losing the vote that she is potentially getting.
"Downvoting" would be any vote she receive will be negated. That's how I see it.
