WHAT!? No, i've always been fond of it. I even celebrated it's win, but it was something before that I just liked, not loved. Overtime I have grown very fond of it, the more I listen. I think Melanie is great and I love the composition so much. I find it really interesting, I adore the dark sparseness of it in parts, and the synths. It's just the cliche lyrics that let it down slightly, but I can overlook them now. I love the chorus. I keep hearing it in my head all the time "Cause I'm living my dreams, Never been so alive, The sky's the limit now that I know I can fly"

I didn't expect Israel to participate with an Arab song.
Too bad there are no Arab countries in the contest to vote for it.

This song with its oriental sound is certainly a welcome change from all those boring ballads.

I'm so thankful to Israel for giving us an uptempo song with ethnic elements. Too bad is this one... :?
The chorus with the Middle-Eastern vibes is quite interesting, but those verses with that Timberlake-ish style (I can't even define it) are so tacky and terrible.
Gave it 5 points, although I'd gave it less in other context.

I see that many people actually repeat on a mistake saying it's an Arab song/Turkish or whatever. I would like to emphaize the fact that this music style contains at least 50% of Israeli songs in 00's if not more! Why am I happy about this song? Cause this song represents our music now, it's a middleastern music, not another wannabe Eurovision style ballad, we tried many things, it's time for party. We won't make it to finals, that's right, It's Israel, ridiclous but no matter what we gonna send, it will not happen, even if Madonna will represent Israel after living in her TLV apartment and get citizenship, nah, it won't happen. So yeah, all left is to like a song that makes me feel happy and one more song to my playlist So I'm totally thankful, and after this, I don't mind if next year we will finally withdraw!

The other reason i can see us not qualifying (and the biggest one) is knowing our experience with staging -> chances are low for putting on something that will look good (not to mention Nadav and his vocals). but hey, if they can work it out by May, all is good by me.

Anyway, for being a real fan of this contest for like 10 years, I just know that NONE can predict what will happen, yes not even predict. After Belgium 2006 all can happen For the worse and especially for the better!
