I like it. I kind of get the lyrics and reminds me of a past bad relationship. It's not very often someone admits some part of the guilt when things are over. In my top 10 for now

I do like it more and more, but I am worried about live performance ;/

I listened to it again and it's not as bad as my first impression. Start to like it....

I can change what I do because I am asked to.
Or I can be the one who follows her own path. to Eurovision

I can change my music to make it more commercial.
Or I can be the one steered by her own vision.

I can change my lyrics to make them easier to understand.
Or I can be the one whose songs have hidden depths.

I can change my songs to make them more accessible.
Or I can be the one known for challenging her listeners. (where can I hear her avant-garde pieces please?)

I can change my arrangements to make them more familiar.
Or I can be the one who’s fearlessly original.

I can agree to play gigs that mightn’t suit me or my music.
Or I can be the one who consistently electrifies live. Or I can go to Eurovision and sit in front of my piano as I pretend to play it.

I can appear on a TV show that I’d never watch myself.
Or I can control my media appearances so each one feels special. Eurovisionxheat

I can do a photo shoot for a magazine I’d never read.
Or I can be the one who rises above the clamour.

I can do what someone says because they’re from ‘the industry’.
Or I can make my own decisions based on what feels right for me. You tell em girl

I can appear in an ad for money or exposure.
Or I can be the one who’s in it for the music, the music, the music.

I can give up my freedom for a million different reasons.
Or I can be the one who is true.

I am Molly Sterling.

Joking aside though, I feel Molly's song will be the one song of all the ones i'm lumping into the beige© pile, that I think will grow on me by May. I keep hearing it in my head and there is something about it that is warmer, and less pretentious than a lot of the other slower songs on offer. I do find her vocals and style quite forced but I think she gets away with it. She's one to watch. Dark horse perhaps.

I didn't notice this song when I listened to the options before the NF, but it's already grown on me. There's something mournfully sincere about it, especially the chorus.

I'm starting to enjoy it too. Liking her voice a lot, and I agree with pinkchiffon that it just feels so honest and real.

Hmm, this is a strange and tricky one. It didn't 'grow' on me yet, since I've only heard most of the songs for the first or second time. (ok, I was cleaning and the playlist was repeating itself over and over again, but I didn't notice how often each songs was playing...)
Well, still. This so far stands out for me, although I also dislike something about it (can't put my finger on it yet), the chorus is lovely and is now stuck in my head after cleaning the kitchen.

So, first impression would be a very generous :10:
