One reason I'd like to see Nikki win is that from her interview it definitely seems like she has a clear idea of what she wants the stage to look like in Vienna.

Having a coherent and confident presentation will be very important come Vienna. It's something Ireland is generally very weak at in Eurovision.

I'll give you that, with the exception of Alex Saint, none of the the songs really suck so Ireland will most likely avoid another Heartbeat disaster. That being said, I just LOVE Kat Mahon songs and it would become easily my new Number 1. Which is why Il Volo is most likely rooting for Nikki tonight.

IMHO Heartbeat failed because of the staging and vocals. The song was fine.

Kat has such a nice song. But unless she can perform it live with exceptional charisma I see her chances for qualifying in Vienna rather low.

Puppet On A String. The Irish embracing some British eurovision nostalgia.

edit: And Boom bang-a-bang. I'm scared with what they have planned now.

LOL Ireland, the country with the most Eurovision victories, singing only British songs
