I actually like Friðrik's song more in English than in Icelandic, it flows better in my opinion.:) He has 3 or 4 backing vocals now, so I'm thinking that it could be quite good tonight. ;) I can't understand how people love the English version of Maria's song. It hasn't been my favourite, but it is even a less favourite for me now :(

I absolutely love the English version of Fjaðrir and I think it's unbelievable that they just made the English lyrics this week..... It just shows how good they are IMO :p I am really really hoping that they will win this tonight. It's so different, and Hildur is such a good singer, she was spot on vocally last Saturday which can not be said about Haukur, my other big favorite song of this year. I am hoping that it was due to technical problems.

My dream Top 2 would be Sunday and Haukur Heiðar, but I know that is not possible unless the live performance from him changes drastically. I would be happy with Sunday and Friðrik in the Top 2 if the live performance from him changes drastically from the semifinal, or Sunday and Elín since she has a cute song and you haven't seen a song like that in Eurovision for a long time :p

I will be there tonight and am so excited. The final in Eurovision hasn't been this good for so many years, I can't even remember ;)

I have to admit that Fjaðrir has sneaked it's way to become one of my favourites over time. Since "Augnablik" and "Aldrei Of Seint" are eliminated this song together with "Miljoner Augnablik" are my favourites for the national final, although Haukur has to improve his live performance might he get to Vienna.

As for the English version.............just don't do it. There should be a rule that :is: together with :it: are obligated to send a song in their native language, they are both so beautiful.;) By translating it in english, you take the magic away from Litil Skref, which would be a shame, because it's one of the best life performances and I really like the song.

Ever since that ridiculous warrior nonsense from Malta and after the screaming affair from Albania I've been reluctant to let 2015 songs into my life. Pressed by dear kengaIME, I've been timidly shown to every newcomer but have quickly dismissed every one of them in favour of better things.

It is however very hard to escape when you're inside four walls and dearest is playing ten songs nonstop. Although still not overly impressed (Georgia sounds mildly promising), I thought I heard something Icelandish last night that might, just might, wake up my interest. It has recently changed it's name to Feathers, it's played by a day of the week, it sounds totally lovely and I want it.

There's someone back there saying it won't win though. Really? What a shame. Think about it, Ice people. I challenge you :will you dare not pick this song?T()

I think his cover of "Moon river" is quite good. The Icelandic translation by Haukur Heiðar;)

I was leaning towards I Kvold as my favourite and that English version has sealed it. I was worried losing the Icelandic would ruin it, but it's actually got better.

Is this the version being performed tonight or just if it gets to Vienna?

Yes, she will perform the English version tonight, and if she wins, will be perform in English in Vienna too.

I'm afraid it's not going to win, I think it will be either Maria or Friðrik:( It's seems like it's not clicking in here in Iceland....

Excellent. I look forward to it.

It's OK to admit you were wrong and that Sunday is the clear winner. I will accept your apology.

I never apologise. I simply abandon the thread never to be heard of again. xqueenbitch
