Actually Erna's elimination comes as a surprise to me. But then, Iceland always seems to choose their entries randomly. You just never know.

Friðrik had better not sing like that next time! I really like the song but the live performance was disappointing. I'm glad Stefanía is out. Did that song even have a chorus?

My favorite is still Elín but she also needs to work on her live performance.

How did Erna not go through? Robbed. She was my favourite and definitely deserved to be in the final.

Didn't see the live performances, but I like all of the songs that got through a lot. The Icelandic selection is definetly very charming and strong, I'm in love with it to the moon and back and I'm not even kidding.. Every single one of the songs should be at Eurovision besides maybe Stefania and I would be very happy. Don't understand a word, but I'm humming and swaying along to every song. And I don't understand why Icelandic people have so freaking pleasant voices. Elín is amazing though!!! xlove Definetly my favourite out of the selection. So lovely. I would like to know what it talks about.. From the second semi.. I don't even know which songs should get through, they are all amazing.. But I love Fjaðrir, Fyrir alla, Brotið gler and Aldrei of seint the most. The first time I heard Milljón augnablik I thought, well this is definetly Icelandic, because it reminds me of Sigur Rós/Jónsi quite a bit.. I like that one as well. :D

I was in the audience and I have to say that HINEMOA, Elín Sif and Björn og félagar should have qualified, the other's just didn't sing well, no offence to anyone who loves those songs, but we chose almost perfectly, we just had to throw Friðrik out and put HINEMOA in. And I'm pretty sure the wildcard will be in the 2nd semi, it's so much stronger.

Also, with HINEMOA. I love "Þú Leitar Líka Að Mér" but I think that is one of the kind of songs that doesn't work live.
I mean, I put the example of the unnecesary screech at 2:25. I still love HINEMOA's entry, but I was like... "Why?"

As always a very special and nice atmosphere in the Icelandic NF this year. I am glad, my favorite "Bjoörn og Felagar" qualified :-)

Boooo. Erna was robbed. Guys, that was THE choice. Duh.

At least "I kvöld" qualified. I hope this wins since the other two qualifiers are bad and I don't like a single song from the second semifinal.

If anyone here can and wants to learn the refrain of the song "Milljón augnablik", Karl Olgeirsson, who wrote the song, gives a good instruction. They are actually in Icelandic, but if you have played piano you will have no problem following him;)
