Oh that was bad! My poor ears! Maybe someone from Hungary can explain better, is there some back-story here? Are they famous? Did they bribe the jury?

The winner in 2020 was great though:

Generally A Dal has been a pretty good national selection, also in this edition I heard a couple of good stuff so how this bad song ended up winning leaves me puzzled

Appeartly the A Dal watchers I talked to who actually from Hungary they said that it was ''rigged''....

In case anyone was wondering if there's a chance for our return: there won't even be a Hungarian broadcast this year. We withdrew in 2010 but they still aired all the shows live. Not this time. We are gone for good.

In a Eurovision context, this is very devastating.
It seems that one of my favourite countries in Eurovision is just lost for good/some years now.

I hope to see Poland or the Czech Republic win soon (I guess that's the only "real chance" to see you guys return without your political climate getting "more European"/LGTBQ+ friendly)
