I voted for "Kalokairina rantevou", one of the best greek summery songs!

That song is "too local" if you know what I mean.

At least Thomai didn't win. I'd prefer to see her as Bob Marley than with that song, regardless liking her as a singer

It is! But so far, i have realised that WV members do not want an american wannabe song from Greece.

Well, about my colleague Demmy i always had mixed feelings. She's nice, but not the next big pop star for me...

^ I love Demy but "The Sun" is not my favorite song of her. It's a nice summer tune but it lacks character to make it stand out, but on the other hand, there are not any other similar songs in this semi, so it might make it.

I think "Kalokairina rantevou" would have the same fate with Cyprus in WV3 (Alkinoos Ioannidis - "O kosmos pou allazi" - failed in the semi).

If it was "Poses hiliades kalokairia" i would be much more confident for Greece. But with this, i dunno.

My plan for this edition was to send a summer song which would represent a greek summer. I think that ''The Sun'' is just perfect because: 1) It's Demy, a young and fresh girl
2) The beautiful sun that we have in summer (title)
3) A great video which shows exactly how we spend the summertime in Greece.
