True. I‘ve been listening to her „Unexpected“ album on a regular basis, it‘s so good and she is so lovely. She had my full support back then even though I didn’t like the song.

I just had „I don’t feel hate“ on permanent repeat and my husband, who never listened to the song before, joined me. After the third time he asked me: „Is this some kind of Stockholm syndrome? The more often you listen to the song the more you hope you will less hate it?“

Now that all songs have been released (except Belarus, but I doubt I will like the artist's song to make a huge change).
I am re-evaluating all songs as per studio form and re-looking into my grading system and how I have ranked the songs according to my personal preference.

Germany has moved up a few notches. I do get the message and I do enjoy certain parts of the song
But I am still not sold on it and still think it's a really poor attempt from Germany.
So I am upgrading the rating of this song to a .

Indeed... altough I liked "Wear your love", my favorite in our 2019 NF was LACL and I still think we could´ve done very well with her. Aly would have been another FFF

for me the german entry from 2021 is a little bit difficult.
from lena to now i dont like only the 2018 & 2019 entries.
the maine problem with jendricks song,what i have,is the circumstance,that there is too much tried into one song!
the music is simple but ok and catchy too,the "metalpart" is nice and it works well with that simple part - you can see it good in that coverversion from the reaction youtuber.
my biggest problem is the message in the lyrics - this is in my opinium a silly idea!
a touch too much!
i am not a big friend of activist messages at the ESC.
without that message i would give 7 points - with that message
1 point of the 5 is the "heimatbonus".

Definitely I saw Lily in concert last year (actually the last concert before the lockdown) in a quite small venue and she was so lovely and grateful for being there and playing. Therefore one of the best concerts I ever visited (Which are a lot...) .

From German entries after Lena's I only did fully enjoy 2015 (I was sad when Ann-Sophie finished last albeit it made sense as even me who really liked it had it only as my 7th favourite so I did not feel the need to vote for it and many others did not find it good, and that staging was indeed tacky), 2018 & 2020 (what a bop, but it would likely be a trainwreck live to be frank). Everything else ranged from 'mah' like in 2012, 2016 to bad (2017, 2019).

My biggest What If's will forever be Avantasia and Gregorian in 2016. Both entries would have been unique that year in a sea of radio-friendly pop songs – which Jamie-Lee sadly was a part of (not even blaming her, she's a formidable singer and Ghost is pretty good as well, but I don't think her outfit and staging helped in this case).

Both songs still slap as well imo

Oh yes definitely! I also think that "Ghost" wasn't as bad as it finally was received, but these two songs ... would have been so fantastic on stage. I love Avantasia and listen to it a lot!
